Massage Envy, Boynton Beach FL

I'm hooked! So much so that I became a member.
Truth be told, I was highly doubtful about getting a massage at a "center" but this place and my therapist proved me wrong.
Let me explain.
A former boss gave me a gift certificate to Massage Envy - 7 years ago - which I never used and was going to toss it when I remembered seeing a new Massage Envy opened a few miles from my home. So I called and asked if the g/c was still valid. It was so I figured why not? WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!
They have covid prevention down pat using a mobile check in system. They send a text, you reply, and then they let you know when to come in to their facility. Upon entering I was greeted by a very pleasant young lady who was just the sweetest ever! Trained exceptionally well, she introduced herself, talked about the many options available and what I was looking to achieve during my session. Yes, there was up-selling but I was totally OK with it. Ended up getting a 90 minute instead of the hour.
On to the massage.
I was paired with Marcella as my therapist. I CANNOT RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT HER! For me, she was the perfect combination of pressure when a little extra was requested and overall, one of the BEST massages I ever had! The massage table was heated which helped ease the muscle tightness. 90 minutes went by quickly and I felt way better than when I had originally entered.
So I became a member. It's $780 a year (can be automatically billed each month) and includes monthly massages. Additional massages or add-ons are available at a reduced price. Totally worthy.

From arrival to departure, everything went smoothly, efficiently, and the massage was excellent.

I have been going to Massage Envy for a few years now and I really love it. Everyone from Suzette, the manager, to the front desk is professional, pleasant and can’t do enough for you. My masseuse Teodora is excellent- she knows my body and is a master at what she does. Most of the time I just ‘float’ out of there at the end of my session. It is an hour well spent.

We had a wonderful experience at massage envy and this particular branch went above and beyond! We actually turned up to our appointment at the wrong branch by mistake! Regardless of this the lovely manager cancelled our appointment at the other branch and fitted us in there! The girls behind the desk made the experience even more pleasurable! Hal gave an amazing massage and made me feel very comfortable!

After moving to the area and giving up my masseuse of many years, I was thrilled with the masseuse at this locale. When she did not return (once reopened), I hesitatingly tried a new person. Hard to believe -she’s even better!

I scheduled for a deep pressure massage therapist. Once I arrived, I was scheduled for a different massage therapist. Shortly after the massage began, I requested another massage therapist do to inconsistent pressure and just not what I asked for. The manager provided a new massage therapist who also was not able to provide the deep enough pressure needed.

So my trip to de-stress and relax turned into more stress and anger because I paid for nothing.

I rarely write reviews, but I am super disappointed in this facility that I have been a member for almost 7 years. When my husband & I moved into the area, we signed up. We have kept the membership going because it’s close by, often we can book last minute & there’s been great therapists through the years. Before I learned new management had bought the franchise- I could tell something changed. The waiting room was empty & cold, the upscale touches that the sisters incorporated were no longer available and the facility doesn’t have the same clean modern feeling that I once saw. The biggest change is the staff - front desk folks are sub par and the manager is rough around the edges. I had an issue with her today & her initial response was unprofessional. I can’t imagine the new owners are on top of things with all the changes I see. I hear the Wellington location is more upscale with a different caliber of folks.

Had the worst massage ever, twice, here. First time was terrible. Went back a year later and since they never noted not to give me this therapist again, I of course got him because he's always free, and once again terrible.
Facials have always been really good here and friendly front counter staff. The name is Massage Envy. Put more time into making sure your staff is trained.

Front desk staff very nice. Inviting. The massage was very good. My husnmband and i both had a great experience overall and will definitely go back TO THIS LOCATION! The other locations aren't run as well as this one.

New management is inflexible and not customer first oriented. It is a shame as I enjoyed going there as a long time customer. Maybe in the future they will understand what loyalty to their customer base means.
