If I can leave less than one star, I would. Highly unprofessional and use of high intense retention practices. I called several times requesting to cancel my membership. However, I was told I had to drive to my home location to cancel my membership which was done on the 28th upon canceling my membership at the location. I was told that I had two hours to use on my account which was scheduled the date of my cancellation. However, a week later I received a call from management stating that my appointment was canceled due to me having to cancel the day of my appointment, I was told by management there was nothing she could do as she felt that she exhausted all options. Do not get a membership with massage luxe because you will regret it.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Shawna asked if I had a problem area and then avoided it for the first fifteen minutes. Paid $147 for an hour stone massage that barely lasted 45 minutes. Shawna seemed unhappy and was not friendly or welcoming. Parts of the massage were one-fingered pauses - like she was texting with the other hand or preoccupied. Overall it was an overpriced bad experience.

This place is a joke they don’t even deserve a 1 star. I was given 2 gift card for Xmas by a friend so I called this location on Westchase since is the closest location to me. I book my appointments for a deep tissue massage and a fácil on Jan 11th unfortunately I called on Jan 4th to reschedule my appointments because I had to travel for work and the receptionist changed one appointment and not the other and they charged me $58 for a no show no call, however I called and spoke to Brooklyn and she was no help she believed the receptionist. Why would I call and reschedule one of my 2 appointments? If I’m telling her I’m traveling that day for work it made no sense. I was denied a refund and given a corporate number to call and I have over a eeek calling and leaving messages and no one calls back. I would never book an appointment or give my credit card info at this location very dishonest people work there. I don’t even want that gift card I was given for Xmas.

I have moved, but there is no way to transfer my account to another location without driving back to my original location and requesting to do so in person. Is this 2023? You can buy a house online but your massage therapist is apparently too important. “It’s in the billing agreement you signed, ma’am”. The massage therapists at the Westchase location are excellent but the rest of the company is de-humanizing.

Alex the receptionist was very helpful in explaining and helping me and my wife figure out the best way to start a membership and getting me and my wife in at the same time. Beth was a great masseuse! I felt relaxed during my Swedish massage. Very professional and friendly!

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Absolutely worst experience. My husband got me a deal for a facial they had on THEIR website and they wouldn’t honor and want me to pay double the price or a $98 cancellation feel. Don’t waste your time

Shawna from the get go just appeared as an unhappy employee. She never even bothered to ask how my day was going. Didn’t ask if the pressure was ok. Finished 5 minutes early and didn’t cover my entire body as I asked her to. I booked. A deep tissue and I felt like a child could have applied more pressure than her. Very disappointed with her specifically. Front desk staff was super nice and the place is clean.

NEVER again! I booked an appointment for someone else over the phone this morning, they asked what type of massage HE would want, etc. They asked my phone number, once I gave it to them the appointment was booked, I thought we were set! I then received a call back from Luxe employee stating that since I no longer have a membership, the massage would be $98. No problem. HE went for the massage and because I had been there before, they charged my credit card on file from over a year ago $98 as a cancellation fee since I am not the one that showed up! Who cares who the person is they massage? Is it even legal to store someone's credit card on file and use it at your discretion with no approval from the card owner? I have read many reviews since this happened this morning, and I agree with the less than 1 star rating!

Alexis is the best! I am a former professional ballet dancer and have chronic pain, so good massages for me are crucial to be able to work after ballet. She is seriously one of the best massage therapists I have ever met in over 30 years of career. She leaves me feeling new again. I almost cancelled my membership when she left for a little bit. I hope she never leaves again! Thanks Alexis for helping me!

This location, the manager specifically, is the reason Massage Luxe will no longer receive my business (and l buy lots of massages annually). She is rude, condescending, snarky and entirely unprofessional. No one should leave after an amazing massage more stressed than when they walked in. Period.

I've never had an issue with this place. The front desk folks are nice and Dorothy literally gives the best massages I've ever had. She's amazing.

Please. Listen to the REAL reviews.not the fake ones this place is making. This place is so unprofessional. The massage therapists will not listen to you and will talk your ear off. Not relaxing what so ever.

I purchased a Groupon for services, however was told I could not receive services because I’ve purchased from Groupon in the past. No where In the Groupon disclosure indicates you could only buy one Groupon. I asked to speak to a manager and they hung up. I called again and she rudely said call Groupon and hung up. I never make complaints nor report anyone, however no business should ever treat their consumers this way. I will never return. And I will make sure to put a review in every forum including the BBB to make consumers aware of the poor customer service they have.

The updated their disclosure on Groupon, however was not there when purchased

I been coming for over two years and refer few friends. I had a very rude female therapist and was never told she would be using gloves for the session. I told her it was not relaxing at all and her vibes was totally off. I informed the front desk an per owner decision was still charge for the 2 hours. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate. I decide to cancel my membership. Good luck

My MIL had a subscription to one massage a month here. She booked a massage and the staff said it was covered by her subscription. When she came home her card had been charged. Called the massage luxe and they said it was because there was one day before her new month - despite what the office told her at booking. Wouldn't have scheduled that day if they had told her the correct information. Good massages but terrible business practices.

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE! Wish I could give zero or negative stars.

My husband and I have been going to this specific location for the past few years. My husband canceled his membership last year due to constantly having to deal with new therapists because they can’t seem to keep the good ones.
Today I had a facial followed by a massage appointment. About an hour before my first appointment, I started feeling sick and throwing up. I called to let them know and asked to cancel. They said that I would still be charged for my hours per their cancellation. However, also per their policy, if cancellation due to COVID symptoms, e.g. Throwing up, then the 2hrs advance cancellation requirement would be waived BUT they conveniently ignored that one.
After arriving for my first appointment, I had to use the restroom. When I came out, they claimed that since I now had thrown up on-site, they couldn’t service me AND still going to charge me for the hour. (FYI, I didn’t throw up in their restroom.)
So they refused to service me but would still take my money. Isn’t that STEALING if not ROBBING?
Manager wasn’t in for another hour. Tried calling corporate, their phone system was NOT designed to take customer service calls.
While going back and forth with the receptionists, (there were 2 of them) the long hair male reception rolled his eyes and scuffed at me then called me childish. As a receptionist, he had turned an insistent customer into an irate one.
I wouldn’t cancel my membership then and there but I still had 10+hrs credit.:/

Got an incredible massage last night from Alexis! I felt such relief when she was done with my deep tissue massage, she has magical hands! Highly recommended
