Massey Services Pest Control, Brooksville FL

Doug Miller was his usual friendly, knowledgeable, and competent self! He is still the best Massey Representative I have met since I moved to Wellington in 2017.

Chuck Nave started our Massey service yesterday. He was informative, considerate, courteous. I’m glad he will be doing my house!

7 months after starting the service we still have a yard FULL of weeds. Constant calls to Massey have resulted in promised, but missed visits. Finally a manager showed up after 6months and tried to blame irrigation. We just drilled a new well with new pump and completely new irrigation before starting the service. Irrigation works perfectly. Before the service started we had more St. Augustine in the areas that are now 100% weeds. So, we have lost grass.

These people 1) have a very poor service that does not eliminate weeds and properly care for a lawn 2) are no-show when an appointment is scheduled to a address ongoing concerns 3) find culpability with the customer 4) just don't give a damn. One star is generous.

In the images there are huge clumps of WEEDS right by the road in our front yard. When we finally got the manager to come 5 weeks ago, these weeds were present and very visible. Aside from implying the issues were likely irrigation, they did do some type of service that day and promised to make things right. 4-5 weeks later, same clumps of weeds are out there by the road for my HOA to view everyday. I get letters from the HOA and they are not warm and fuzzy.

Thank you for the constant headaches and incessant calls you have forced us to make to you Massey. And thank you for ignoring us and our lawn so assiduously. You're a rockstar!

Chuck was great, very friendly and knowledgeable.although there was a schedule mix up… after 1 call chuck was here with in 10 min. He very was very detailed about everything. Explained the service gave a lot of great tips and set expectations as to what I should expect once the treatment is applied. Thank you Chuck!

Zach was great! Found an issue with our box that was unexpected and still was able to find a way to make it happen before I had to leave. Definitely recommend in the future!

Update- 11/17/2023 The Regional Manager from Massey Services called me today about my my unhappiness with the company. He was extremely apologetic & professional. I was impressed with his true interest in learning why I was unhappy with the company & wanting to hear the details of what lead up to me canceling my services. He never made excuses & did not try to discount my compliant! I believe that Massey Services takes these type of complaints very serious and will be adding an extensive "Customer Service" training program to their employee education program! I'm giving a BIG Thumbs Up to their customer complaint follow-up! I've change my rating from a 1-star to a 3-star & would consider using them again if they can get their local manager & staff better at keeping appointments & learning how to treat their customers.

Former Review from a few weeks ago: I've been using Massey Services for almost two years. Their customer service is horrible! They schedule techs to come out and then no one shows up, no phone call, no email letting me know & no follow-up call to reschedule. When I call their Brooksville office to speak to Aaron who is the manager I'm told he is out of the office. They only time I get any type of real help is when I try to cancel my services which is uncomfortable for me & their office staff. When Aaron finally came out to my house he took on an offensive tone once he realized that I had paid another lawn care company to re-sod a section of my lawn instead of using Massey Services. I never have this problem with the company that mows my lawn, cleans my pool, fixes my sprinkler system/heads, pressure washes my house, trims my trees etc. I never have to call any of them & ask why they didn't show up on the day they scheduled with me. I pay my invoices on time and expect good customer service. Don't use this company, there are other lawn & pest control companies out there that do a great job at a much better price!

Past 6 years i would say a 5, but unfortunately they let a huge brown patch in backyard grow with chinch bug damage and several other spots in back as well.this should have been contained without me making several calls.

I wish to compliment Massey Services Brooksville Irrigation Technician Zack for his exceptional service remedying 4 of my irrigation concerns including locating and repairing a root damaged sprinkler pipe and head. Even though he had several more stops to make, he was patient, thorough, informative and professional. I always know that when Zack leaves my irrigation system will be in excellent working order.

I've only had Massey at my new home for a month now. But the representative Doug was great. He took the time to walk the property and jot down all the concerns. My lawn needs a lot of work because of another neglectful lawn care company. Doug said to give him 6 months to get everything in order and all the weeds dead. I'm gonna hold him to that. So I'll be checking back in in another 5 months. Looking forward to them keeping their word and getting my lawn in tip top shape.

I had the pleasure of meeting our technician Charles Nave. Friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He was a joy and I hope he remains our technician.

Doug Miller came out within a days notice to come check things out and give us a quote on services. Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Absolutely recommend!
