Matteli's Pizza, Miramar FL

Great pizza with good bread, cheese, sauce ratio. Their penne a la vodka is fire. It's beautifully presented, aldente in a light and creamy sauce.

Friendly service was nice. I'd say it's pretty decent pie. If I could change anything, I'd ask for extra sauce - there wasn't much on the pies - and they were a bit skimpy on the toppings. I'd try it again with the revisions or maybe something else like a pasta dish. It seems to be mostly a pick-up place, but there are some tables inside.

Please note the owner did request me to get a refund with doordash and he was very professional but there is absolutely no excuse of what happend

I ordered a create your own alla vodka pasta. Never have I had pork or meat in my pasta sauce unless it says it. The restaurant apparently thinks its ok not to put in the description that they make their pasta sauce with little pieces of pork in it. Ok thats fine they can make it however they want.
BUT THEY ALSO THINK ITS FINE NOT TO PUT IT IN THE DESCRIPTION WHEN ORDERING. I was told that all pasta sauces have pork in it which is made the traditional way. No. Thats incorrect. And if you guys want to make it that way its fine but let your customers know. I'm sure theres many many many people out there with many different religions that stop them from eating pork. This is unacceptable. For reference ive also screenshot a alla vodka recipe to let them know that when normal restaurants made the sauce they don't randomly put pork in it. And if they would they would have to let their customers know.

And I gaurantee you if you guys have the decency to let your customers know theres pork in the sauce many will stop ordering it

Hands down, THE BEST pizza I have ever had. They were so nice & patient taking my order and they accommodated our requests like no problem. We got half Steak & Cheese, half Chicken Steak + caramelized onions. It was an awesome flavor bomb from the 1st bite. The crust was NY perfection. Just the right amount of everything so it wouldn't fall apart, yet juicy and the sauce! The Sauce! This is my go-to place from now on for pizza.cuz when it's cheat day, it better be worth it. They exceeded our expectations in customer service, flavor, size, and that all important "cheese-pull" when you take a bite! I completely forgot to take a picture because the aroma filled our house and we dove in! THANK YOU guys! You have a lifetime customer right here!

Finally finally finally! A real European style pizza in Miramar. By far, this is the best pizza I’ve had this year. Phenomenal

I went with my family of 9 (4 kids) and we had a great experience! Staff was courteous and helpful. They were clean, environment was chill and the fooooood was great! Almost had 2 whole pizzas too. Definitely going back!

I told you I would give you a review! Very happy right now, yummy pizza reminds me of the sicilian style I had as a kid. It's huge, trust me one is enough for 2-3 "large" adults. It has a thick crust and may seem "bready" with light sauce. Enjoyable. My only recommendation for personal preference is to have it "well done" only because I like it slightly burnt. Great job, glad to have this gem finally close to the neighborhood. Store looks good by the way and staff was nice

Me and my family went Sunday night for the first time. They close @8pm we got there like 7pm the dining area was closed due to that. So we took our pizza and wings to go and let me say we weren't disappointed! Food was great pizza fresh and wings. It’s a family owned business everyone so sweet.

Wow! Absolutely amazing the Pasta was to die for literally! The garlic rolls were also super good!
I mean my first time here and can’t wait to go back. Glad to know the quality of food here is amazing and only 5 minutes from my house will be coming back very soon

Today, I had the pleasure of trying out (Mattelis) a new pizzeria that opened up in my neighborhood, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with their offerings. As a fan of the classic pizzas from New Jersey, I was excited to try their rendition of the dish, and I must say, it did not disappoint.

The crust of the pizza was perfectly crispy on the outside, yet soft and chewy on the inside, just like the famous jersey-style pizzas. The sauce was tangy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice to give it a nice kick. The cheese was generous and melted to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and delicious.

I opted for a classic pizza with garlic and bacon and it was a match made in heaven. The bacon was perfectly crispy, and the garlic added a nice earthy flavor that complemented the cheese and sauce perfectly.

One thing that really stood out to me was the attention to detail in the preparation of the pizza. It was clear that the ingredients were of high quality, and the pizza was cooked to perfection.

Overall, I would highly recommend this new pizzeria to anyone looking for a taste of Jersey-style pizza. The quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail in the preparation, and the delicious taste all make for an unforgettable dining experience.

Best pizza I’ve had in Florida. The owner really knows how to make the crust. I also had the chicken Philly, done perfectly. Excellent food and service, my new go to place in the area.

This is my third time ordering from Matteli’s (first time using the slice app). Their pizza is always delicious and staff is always nice. The quality/taste here is a lot better than nearby pizzerias. (Pizza in the photo is a large cheese add ricotta, garlic, and basil)
