Mazzaro's Italian Market reviews
16 Awful market, inside interior like from previous century, outdated freezers, equipment, food is untrustworthy, prices are high.
It’s awful in compare with Europe and Italy restaurants and markets. And It’s even awful in compare with US market, Eataly operates in USA, you could at least take a look at their business and how do they operates.
Never go there, even considering that there are no other alternative places in the area.
P. S: Tiramisu is made from mascarpone, not from butter! Ridiculous.
Fantastic place for everything Italian. Especially Italian wine, cheeses, fresh pasta, and breads
Hidden gem. Lobster roll and chicken parm were great. Had the fish po boy and biscotti second time around and even better! Cannoli and chocolate brownies were alright but would love to come back and try more
Hidden gem in the St. Pete area. If you choose to eat there on the patio or take out, try their yummy breads, deserts, pizza, the meat counter, deli, homemade pastas. Wine and cheese room! This place has it all! Be prepared to wait, but all lines usually move fairly quick.
I live in Indianapolis. Everytime I visit my family in Clearwater I make it a point to go to Mazzaro’s. Today I had the meatball grinder, cannoli and lemon slush. My brother and I bought rib eyes and scallops for dinner along with salami, Italian bread and sharp provolone cheese for appetizers. Everything is and was very good. A MUST visit when you are in the area.
Great deli and sandwich counter. Huge selection. Can be very crowded and take more time than you planned on
What can one say, except the best market & best food you can buy in the county. Unbelievable sandwiches, try #20. Have great lunch. Large menu.
Every Monday morning, there's an am trip for the freshly baked rye & Italian bread. The baked goods are freshly baked & wonderful. The deli has everything thing you could want. Great service. Go early as It gets wall to wall busy, especially Saturdays.
The closest one can get to Italy in Florida. Outstanding food (which is mostly imported), familial vibes, and outrageously inexpensive!
Best Italian market on this coast! They also offer a coffee bar, wine and cheese tasting room, and a covered open-air eating area where you can enjoy the delicious food and take in the experience. It feels like you're in little Italy.
This is one of the Outstanding Places of Pinellas County. A magnificent market and dining place (although the seating at the coffee/sandwich bar is always packed). This is the first market I have ever seen that had a line of people waiting to get in at 9am on a Saturday morning when they open. Yeah, it is THAT good.
What a gem! Huge selection of cheese, deli, pasta, deserts, wine and a lot of other products. It also has a lot of foods to go or eat at their patio. My only regret is that I didn't discover this place sooner! Will definitely be back. By the way, staff is polite and helpful.
I love this place! From food, variety of products to the customer service. This feels like being back home in NJ.
It's an event to shop here! And often a line to get in. I love sitting at the coffee/wine counter to eat what I get from the deli. I meet the coolest people every time and the baristas are amazing. Definitely get a coffee here!
Mazzaros used to be my favorite deli for many many many years. Today we were in tampa and decided to make a drive over the bridge to get lunch at mazarros. It was good and priced very reasonably, but the food quality wasn't as mind blowing as I remembered it to be. Had the big Sammy fish sandwich which lacked some flavor, and the sandwich of the week which had fried clay strips - a little over breaded. Of course it is still rated one of the top delis in tampa bay. I just felt that the quality of the food changed a little since the last time I've been here (over 10 years ago). The market itself was good but the prices were not that affordable.
Everything we tried was delicious. They have a wide variety of options, to prepare at home, to eat on site, food to take away and heat at home, breads, charcuterie, and much more. It's a lovely place
Usually I love this place but today I needed help and a tall bald guy helped me, apparently the ‘gm’ as I found out, but I’m doubtful of that. He was awfully rude and made me feel uncomfortable. For a manager, you’d think he’d be nice but I’m willing to bet he was just another employee acting the part.
