McAlister's Deli, Fort Myers FL

So, didn't think a place could screw up this badly, but first, I didn't get the potato I ordered, and my sandwich was a mess. Then, when my boyfriend went to eat his sandwich, he took a bite of the cheese wrapper. Not going back any time soon.

Food was great. I hadn't found one in a while and stumbled on this whole put running errands. Cashier could have been a little more friendly, but other than that it was nice. The Italian was cooked just right and fresh!

Denarius and Stephania we're very courteous and made sure that were happy with our orders

Very very good food and service. The counter staff was helpful, she even got a small sample of chilli to try, we were not fans of the chilli but what we order was outstanding

I haven't been disappointed in McAlister on any level, never. There is so many great selections and options! I'm having their Chef Salad right now.

Friendly staff. Even in 2020 when the world was stressful these people managed to crank out a smile and some politeness. I did notice they put in less fruit concentrate into their teas, so they are not as delicious as last year's teas. I also miss the old fruit concentrates (black cherry anyone?), but that change is corporate-wide one and not to be blamed on this store.

The always good but been there 5 times and every time our order is missing something most of the time it is a pickle which they always ask do you want one but you never get I know it is just a pickle but we order 4 lunches 5 times that's 20 pickles I hate going to fast food restaurants and have to de bag my order to check to see if my order is correct

Third time here. Wow what great sandwiches and salads. Staff more than helpful with suggestions for menu upgrades. Subway watch out.

Food was good as usual, go to dinner spot for family date night. Had to change up order a little due to an inability to get horseradish. Also soda machine was out of order, so was unable to get a refill.

I believe the food can be good but I've ordered from here twice. Got a salad both times and both times they did not send the dressing. I ordered while at work so I have no place to keep the salad to take it home so it just goes to waste. So twice I've ordered from here and twice I've thrown my money away.

I was really unimpressed. I tried the half sandwich and soup pick 2 combo and got a club sandwich with cheddar broccoli soup. The soup was pretty mediocre, good but nothing special. I had asked for extra mayo and honey mustard on my sandwich and there was zero mayo and just a tiny bit of honey mustard plus I had requested a pickle and there was no pickle. The bread was hard at the edges. The cashier was new and did great and she entered my order correctly, the kitchen just ignored all the notes she put in about the sauces and pickle and shoved the food out without following directions. I wouldn't come back or recommend this place.

Nothing but kids working, sat here and at least 4 people waiting for food requested a refund! They better get an adult that’s responsible and not let kids run this place or they will go out of business. I’m sure I’m not the only one that will never return. It’s a shame….

We have ordered McAlister's Deli several times, each time they have canceled our order. The last time I ordered, a woman from McAlister's called and told me one of our items (which is available online) was not available to order. She then asked if I wanted to change the order, I told her yes and switched my sandwich and she told me it would be delivered shortly. 5 minutes later, I get a notification that my order had been canceled. When I called back, they said they don't offer the sandwich I wanted so they just canceled it.

I would not order again. If you don't have items available for purchase they should NOT be included on your online menu.

Terrible service and inconsistent quality of food. We have ordered here multiple times and this may be the last. We placed a to-go order and it was for curbside pickup at 2: 38. The website said to click the “I’m here” button on the email confirmation. There is no “I’m here” button anywhere on it. So at 2: 40, when our food still hadn’t come out, I called to make sure we were in the right place. (Forgot to mention there was not designated parking for curbside) they said to just park in front of either door and they will “bring it right out”. I waited until 2: 48 and went in and asked about my order, the girl acted like she has never heard of curbside orders before and then walked over and grabbed our order. The ticket on the order indicated it was sitting there since 2: 33! This is just one example of what kind of service or inconsistent quality we get. Not to mention when I actually opened my food and see the nachos, the chips were practically crumbs from the bottom of the bag!

I walked in and there was only one person in front of me who was already being helped. There was six people in the back that I could see that looked like they were in a meeting and another four in the front.

They finished with the customer they were working on and I just waited. Each person looked at me and kept going. No one asked if they could assist me or we will be right with you.

A young man comes from the back and questioned them (I believe he was a manager) only then was I asked if they could help me and he was the one who took my order.

I wait for my order and watch it come out but they don’t bother to let me know that it’s ready.

I don’t know what they are on but they need to do better and in doing so they just lost a customer.

Service Horrible!

Food was good, nothing special. I was taken back by the young girl who greeted us. She asked if we were eating in or take out. Upon our response of dining in, she rolled her eyes as if it was a hastle to take our order. I was very close to walking out, but my wife really wanted to eat here. I will not return.

Got the ham and cheese melt. Bottom piece of bread was so soggy. Hubby got "The club". Wasn't impressed either. Won't say about service. Just leave it at a 3 star.

Quality has improved over the last several months. Pleasant cashiers. Forgot the pickle again. Food was amazing, but I was also famished.

Update: went again just the other day, service has definitely picked up and food quality is amazing. Lo and behold they forgot another pickle but I noticed it before I left and it was generously corrected. This is back to being my fav place to eat on the fly.

Had some issues earlier with wrong orders however the past two times we’ve visited everything was wonderful. Spoke with Doug a few weeks back and he made it right with us. The staff were very pleasant and as always, the food was wonderful! So happy to have McCallister’s here in Fort Myers as we had them in Michigan and we missed them. Thanks again Doug for taking good care of us.

The food is absolutely delicious and Savanah who has taking care of me when picking up even if it is just my 1/2 & 1/2 tea she is so friendly and really deserves these five stars.everytime I come in she greets me with my name Beckie
