Ya know it has its ups and downs but they always take care of the problems, Jessica from the office is nothing but a PLEASURE to talk to. She's absolutely fantastic.

This company does not take responsibility and blame customers. My yard got worst after using this company- instead of getting better my yard was getting worse and worse. When I called them for the issue, they blame weather, irrigation, season blah blah blah. I would give ZERO star if I had option.

ROBERT IS ON HIS GAME WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT. DETAIL IS FLAWLESS ADDITDUES ARE IMPECKABLE AND THE HELPERS ARE MOLDED FROM THE SAME CLOTH. I OWNED A LANDSCAPE COMPANY FOR 15 YEARS AND WOULD OF LIVED TO HAVE THIS CREW FOR MYSELF.

This is the most unhonorable company I have ever used. We have been paying $163 a month for lawn care/fertilization. Our front yard was maintained but the back was clearly not given the same attention. We had new sod installed in a portion of our backyard in Feb 2023 and were told they "knew how to handle new sod" and they would make sure it was treated properly. In May/June we noticed the sod started to turn brown/yellow. We notified McGuire of the issue immediately and finally someone came out to notify us of having to adjust our watering and that they "treated it". In July the lawn crew came to mow and my husband asked them if they could take care of the weeds we had growing in our new sod. To which they replied "sure we can do that". I watched them outback with a spray pump and within 2 days the grass had large patches that completely killed the grass. We have been in contact with them about these issues and they "looked into it". We were told that the lawn crew did not spray anything and that they don't even have spray pumps to carry around. So now I am a liar? Why would I lie about something like this? What an awful thing to do to a customer who has been paying you $163 a month to not even do the job properly. Several times they have had to come back because they couldn't even mow the grass properly. They would use a weed whacker instead of bringing the mower to the back. They would miss several spots, weeds in flower bed etc. They would come out after we put in a ticket but why would I even have to bother making sure the service I am paying for is done and done right? Ridiculous. I should have listened to the previous negative reviews. Now they want me to pay for KILLING my grass. Grass that I worked hard to pay for. Obviously they do not care. Especially when people will continue to pay these high amounts for a 10min half done job. I don't know what happened to customer service but it surely doesn't exist here. PLEASE TAKE YOUR SERVICE ELSEWHERE!

Some communication issues and dead grass. I aerated the lawn in July (per suggestion) and had a short cut. Afterwards is started to die. I have reached out a few times since then and had no luck getting resolution. Fertilizer was used x2. The manager texted but did not call and I am not sure what the plan is or if I have to resod.
Update- I was contacted today (after review) and had someone come out. They have discussed some of the issues and set forth a plan I hope is going to get my grass back. I was promised I would not be left with a yard of dirt and that I will be kept in the loop from here on out. I am optimistic at this point and hope this will turn into a positive story of customer service. I will update with new pictures as the yard is addressed.

They Worked for a nearly blind man for two years. He can’t see the yard or the plants. Sprayed dead plants out front and back for those two years. Knocked to say hi and receive the extra tip and waters but Never informed the man about the plants. They Sent an email to the neighbor but never informed the client with a phone call or by mail with the paper bill they send every month.
Management was extremely rude and unprofessional. Acted like a child when reprimanded for their work.
I’m still waiting for the refund they promised to send for the six weeks of work paid for but not done. Horrible

I have been billed for multiple days when they never showed up. The previous reviewer is bang on accurate to say they are happy to blame the customer. I have brought service issues to their attention just to be told they’re doing it when it’s clearly not done. I’ve now been threatened with collections. Stay away.

We called McGuire’s and a couple of other companies after we were not happy with our current lawn care companies. I sent McGuire’s an email at 4: 40 pm one day for an estimate on maintaining our lawn and a representative was actually walking around our backyard by 9 am the next morning analyzing our lawn problems. I did not hear from the other two companies that I emailed for an estimate for a few days. We made the transition to McGuire’s that morning and one month later we have seen a significant improvement in the quality of our lawn. We highly recommend McGuire’s for all of your lawn maintenance needs.
