McGuire's Irish Pub reviews
18 Great food, great drinks & great service from Jay!
Jay has a great personality & is one of the better waiters I’ve encountered!
Great food and great service. We will definitely ask for Noah to be our server again. He was great and very nice!
Amazing service, amazing food, and great environment …each and every time! I should have left a review years ago as I’ve been enjoying this spot for quite some time…. But tonight Angel was such an amazing server with THEEE best personality and service! Thanks again angel!
Angel was amazing, so polite and friendly. Recommended the best food ive had in a long time and some very good wine. Will definately be back!
There was a mix-up at our seating and we waited a long time before we found out that our little button wasn't working. Then when we got in there there was 50 people in a little tiny area all waiting to be seated at the same time and the girl at the front desk was very rude. We waited a long time for our food the waitress came by twice to tell us that she was sorry for the delay. They were busy but we were there way before 5: 00 p.m. We have eaten at McGuire's a lot of times the food is excellent yesterday the service I thought was horrible.
It's my first time to visit this place. I'm really pleased with their service and great food!
Staff always well groomed, friendly, and efficient.
Food always great, proportions more than ample, and delicious. Always get a good deal for your money.
This was again a great meal with excellent atmosphere and service.
Still the place to take your guests or visiting family
Good food. We had a short wait. There is an app that you can get to get seated faster if you put it in before you leave home or when you are on your way for short to no wait. Service was good.
Went back for brunch today. It was great! Large portion for the price, plus free Irish coffee with omelettes!
I was brought here by my friends who have been coming to Mcguire's for ages and I was amazed at how great it was. I'm one who never believes the hype but the Root Beer is something I wish I could bottle and have shipped monthly to my house. The drinks were amazing, and the service (we had Noah) was top tier.
Our group was 8 people. At no time did we feel rushed, we were able to try a large part of the menu before we ordered our main entree and the food came out faster than I thought it would with how busy they were.
I had the bean soup, and the ribeye (medium) and while it wasn't as pink as I usually prefer it was still absolutely delicious so no complaints at all. I tried my friend's fish n chips and the fish was delicious and was well breaded light and well seasoned.
If you've never been I recommend going but if you've never been and know others that have I recommend going with them as the atmosphere can be a lot if you are overwhelmed easily. Great times were had by all and David the manager is hilarious!
We went to McGuires late on the night of 9/22 and it was pretty awful. We witnessed a manager being rude to employees and even though there were plenty of clean tables, we were moved from our clean table and had to wait on a dirty table to be cleaned off because they were "closing" that section.
Our server, Noah, was really rude and unhelpful. Our chicken came out totally undercooked and the $55 steak came out totally overcooked, but Noah looked at the chicken and said "no, ma'am this chicken is not undercooked, it's fine. " Later I insisted it's raw and wanted to send it back so he took my whole plate and came back and said "the cooks agreed with me, this chicken is fine and not undercooked. " They did not cook it more for me. Ultimately he did take the $15 chicken sandwich off of my bill, but it ruined my entire experience. I will not be returning to McGuires.
Great place for a family dinner. Food was fabulous and server Jason was outstanding. Be prepared for a loud room if sat in the larger rooms with high ceilings.
Great food, generous portions and our server Stewart rocked! Thanks for the great grub and amazing service, Stewart!
Honestly this place is very over hyped. I’ve been here multiple times and the food has always disappointed me. My wedge salad was actually terrible (no bacon or tomatoes, just blue cheese dressing) and the peppercorn steak was mediocre at best. The atmosphere is great and service was very impressive for the size of the restaurant, however that didn’t make up for the food.
There is nothing on the menu that isn’t amazing. The porch chops are out of this world but the portions are to big for 1 person. Great option to share. This is a must if you are in Pensacola!
Never a dull night at McGuires! Food is delicious (and portion sizes are huge!), drinks are always on point, atmosphere is lively and our waitress Danielle was so friendly and attentive. One of the best establishments in town
First time and loved it! Highly recommend the Senate Bean Soup. I'll be looking for a copycat recipe to make this winter with a skillet of cornbread! The tiramisu martini was amazing! The fish and chips were wonderful. The fish was flaky and tender and the coating was light and crisp. Valerie was the best server. Ask for her! We will definitely be back.
Stewart was our waiter he is very on point polite and extremely professional love the service and atmosphere food was great!
The absolute best prime rib I have ever eaten period! My wife got the ribeye and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great along with the Rueben egg rolls I was skeptical about but after tasting them I was a believer!
