McKibben Park reviews
13Cute little park in a quiet neighborhood! There is a small Pavillion that's appropriate for a small gathering. It is also equipped with a small grill and 3 picnic table/bench.
Wonder, adventurous park and the interaction adults/ parents can actually have with their littles is amazing. Thank you we will be back to lay more!
Very Nice Park had a great time the weather made it even better. It was cool day in the mid 60's with a breeze.
Some people didn't cleaned up after Sunday party, 12 of November 2023, at and under their tables. I did it after them Monday.
People, keep this place clean.
Please.
Nice, clean, lots of shade. Picnic area available. There was a nice breeze that made it comfortable on a warm day. Great slides, swings & climbing equipment.
This is the best park in the town. The park sits on the water and has a gorgeous view. You can sit on the porch swing under the big oak trees and watch the water. There are floating docks to fish from and also kayak launching stations. There is a very nice playground for the kids. Park has plenty of parking, a nice picnic Pavilion and bathrooms. Park also has tennis, basketball & racquetball courts and there are horseshoe pits.
We visited for the first time for the annual
Fishing derby put on by the Kiwanis club. Very nice park- playground has a cover to keep the sun off. The lake was beautiful and all the kids had fun fishing!
Very good park, nice pond with a lot of fish. Great for kids. Good for fishing. I caught a lot of fish.
Clean and well maintiantained. Bathrooms and water filling Station. Has basketball and tennis courts along with 2 park areas one for young and older kids. There are 2 docks and a boat launch. You can also fish off the docks. Warning there are frequently alligators in the area.
Well kept park. Great scenery and right on the canal. Tennis, basketball and kayak dock. Playground and restrooms are very clean.
It's a nice park lots of space to play football withy boys and decent basketball court and a well maintained playground
Nice park with Pavillion, pickleball/tennis court, basketball court all on a lovely small lake. Located at end of McKibben with parking.
Great little park. I appreciate it has a shade cover over the slides so they are not to hot. There are swings and slides and two different sets to climb on. There is also a basketball Court and bathrooms. It's on the water so you can take your kayak out and fish. My only negative would be there is no fence so if your kiddo gets away from you they could head to the water. My child knows to stay away from water, but she is 6. Sadly this park got hit hard from the hurricane and the big beautiful trees all fell. That just means less shade. But the gazebo has picnic tables and a grill so there is at least that. Hopefully new trees can be planted so there will be lots of shade again in the future.
