Meghan McShane-Davis and team were exceptional. I hired Meghan to handle my divorce case. Meghan had a way of explaining all the details of my case to me in terms I could easily understand. Any questions and/or concerns about my case were relayed and answered almost immediately. Divorce is never easy emotionally and I definitely felt the compassion from Megahan and her team. I just want to sincerely thank Meghan and Angela at McShane & McShane Law Firm, P. A. I was skeptical that helpful lawyers even exist due to past experiences and I was very reluctant but I had an unfair situation in regards to child support and I was going to need real legal help. After doing some searching online, and reading into this family-operated law firm I felt like it was my best hope for help. When I originally called, Angela (who happens to be a paralegal for Meghan) expressed how busy they were and that at the moment they weren't taking any new cases. I was a bit desperate because my hearing was in just a week so I pretty much vented out my situation anyway and Angela stayed on the phone and listened to me and answered some general questions. But, because of how busy they were Angela apologetically had to turn down my case. I completely understood because of how reluctant I was to hire a lawyer, w to begin with, I called "last minute" and because my hearing was so soon my case would need immediate attention. At this point, I was pretty desperate to find a trustworthy law firm so before I hung up with Angela I asked her, "Do you know or can you recommend me to a law firm that could help me? ". Now I understand the question I'm asking, for her to put their law firm's reputation onto another firm, but I was desperate for help. Angela couldn't recommend a law firm and it's probably great that she didn't. Because instead Angela recognized my desperation and understood my situation because she had listened to me rant about it earlier in the phone call. She showed empathy and said she would call Meghan (who was in court at the time) and explain my situation to her. Thankfully, Meghan was just as responsive, empathetic, and helpful as Angela. Meghan called me the same day, asked some more detailed questions, and then agreed to take my case. You would think that would be a good enough experience, but not only did Meghan take my case she treated me more as a teammate rather than a "client". She made me feel that she was in this fight with me and that I wasn't alone. Deep down that was all I hoped for when hiring a lawyer as I truly understood my situation and the likely outcome probably wasn't going to change. As I shared my personal story and evidence Meghan shared her legal advice. Together we laid out the options we had and together we chose a plan A, a plan B, with a possibility of a plan C with their possible outcomes. I arrived early to the court on my hearing date and Meghan was already there prepping for our hearing. We were presented with further information and quickly discussed any change of plans and agreed upon a line of questioning. In the courtroom and during the entire process Meghan showed high professionalism. She stuck to the agreed-upon line of questioning and the overall game plan. And thankfully, not only was our outcome the best possible, Meghan got the entire cased dropped! The judge was ready to settle on a judgment based on the guidelines using an unclear omission of income amount from my ex during the line of questioning and her lack of providing a clear and current financial affidavit. Meghan spoke up and PUSHED the argument to have the case completely dropped due to those very reasons. The judge took a minute to think and then agreed to Meghan's argument to drop the case. It was the "hail mary" of outcomes that we didn't put much hope into during discussions, but it happened. So I just want to again thank Meghan and Angela for being who and what so many only claims to be, good honest people. And let me apologize for the late review, but as Meghan and I walked out of the courthouse I promised I would write one and share our experience, and a promise made is a promise kept. If for any, one reason to help other fathers like me out there who may have lost hope and are in search of guidance. McShane & McShane are the real deal.

I was referenced to Neal from a good friend of mine that kept insisting i gave Neal a call. It was the best decision I made, after meeting him and his amazing assistant Angela i knew i was in good hands. They calmed me down and broke it down in a simple way for me to understand, They treated me and my case with care and delicacy because every case is sensitive. It showed me they do care about the well being of there customers, they answered every question i had to the full extent and more. In the end my case which involved a dui and a felony was dropped thanks to Neal and his amazing assistant.
