I’ve been working out with Spencer at Meant2Move in Naples for the last six months and I’m feeling stronger, more flexible and more attuned to my body. The fitness studio is very clean and Spencer ensures his clients feel comfortable with the cleaning between training sessions. He knows physiology and my chronic knee pain is virtually gone. It’s a great workout and I can’t say enough good things about Meant2Move and the trainers there. He cares about his clients and their fitness goals.

I’ve been to 9 sessions with Spencer and I’m learning many stretching techniques, fatial restriction removal techniques and exercises to help my lower back pain and and to help my shoulder locks. I feel welcome relief; I’m learning much more effective abdominal, arm and leg exercises; and I’m hopeful and looking forward to being stronger with a more balanced fitness program. I had never heard of functional training before, and now I’m convinced of its effectiveness.

Spencer’s knowledge of the musculoskeletal system is at a medical level, paired with his dedication to obtaining your total health objective, made Meant2Move a great experience! I highly recommend trying it for 10 sessions, at least; you’ll feel like a new person.

If you are looking for outstanding personal trainers, look no further than Meant2Move. I had Chaz, and my wife had Spencer. You will not find the cookie-cutter exercise routines at Meant2Move. My wife and I had personalized training programs based on our current levels of fitness, ages, goals, past physical injuries, and the results of a comprehensive assessment test. You will never know what Chaz has up his sleeve. He continually varies exercises and switches up workouts. Chaz also emphasizes balance, flexibility, and core strength, all of which are slipping away as I reach my 70s. Chaz also taught me how to use weights and exercise equipment properly. I learned that I have been doing some exercises improperly for years, such as the kettlebell.

Both Spencer and Chaz are true personal fitness professionals. It's a little hard to find but its well worth the effort. I would recommend Meant2Move for anyone interested in improving their physical fitness.

The gym is spotless with a variety of equipment in excellent condition, mirrors throughout. Spencer and Chaz are top-notch trainers. I initially went to rehab a shoulder. Chaz got it working well again and without pain in a few weeks. Now I’m working on other fitness goals with him. He’s especially paying attention to my shoulder mechanics of course as I don't want to regress there. The trainers are well-prepared and on time for appointments, and they have a plethora of movements to draw upon when seeing what a client's needs and goals are. So glad I found this studio, highly recommended!

I love working out at Meant2Move! As a longtime runner, I've always struggled to find a resistance training program that I could stick to without getting bored. I began training at Meant2Move in November 2019 and Samantha has been my trainer since January. She is fantastic! She provides you with a wide variety of exercises for both your upper and lower body while also keeping your heart rate elevated. I've gained far more muscle and burned more fat than I ever could have on my own. She also offers great nutritional advice to keep you on track when you aren't in the studio. Resistance training is no longer boring to me and I look forward to my weekly workouts! I truly feel better than ever and have learned so much! At Meant2Move, they actually live up to their tagline and you will "Feel the Difference"!

Great team of trainers who really care about their clients and are constantly looking out for their physical health. The trainers here are smart, dedicated and conscientious. I was never bored in my personal training. There was always something new and different to take my mind off of "working out. " If you want a truly great team to help you get stronger and healthier, this is it!

I have never worked with a personal trainer but am fortunate that I am working with Spencer. He is totally knowledgeable about what causes inflammation and pain in our body and has given me the inspiration and desire to work hard toward easing and hopefully eliminating my back pain through stretching and other exercises. He is patient and works at a pace that I feel comfortable with as we move forward to getting me to the point of moving pain free. I really like that my appointments are one-on-one rather than a group exercise class. I recommend Meant2Move for anyone at any age.

I have worked with trainers over the years and while I felt some improvements, with Spencer at Meant2Move Fitness I have actually healed many injuries I accepted as pains with aging that just wouldn’t go away. Spencer not only explains the benefits of the exercises he has me doing, but he also explains how the muscle I’m working effects other things. It is refreshing to have a “wellness” trainer who understands the entire body and can help you heal aches and pains while getting into shape. Feeling is believing, try a couple sessions and feel the difference.

Being over 50, I thought there wasn't much I could do about my fitness situation. I saw a flyer about M2M at the fitness center in my development and decided to check it out. So glad I did. Spencer Richardson has both great knowledge about fitness and an ability to translate that knowledge into a workout plan I can stick with long term. It's been about three months and I've gained several pounds of muscle, lost even more pounds of fat and feel great. Now, my son, one of my daughters, and my wife are signed up to work with him.

Thanks Spencer for a great experience for my entire family!

I have been training with Spencer for the past year and I have never felt stronger and better about myself! Spencer is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm he brings to every session. He makes each work out unique and challenging- no two sessions the same. He also places a high value on proper form for each exercise. Spencer listens to your needs and tailors each training session to line up with your goals. I love witnessing the results produced from the experience and techniques that Spencer brings to the table. I have worked with the trainers at Meant2Move for almost two months now and have had phenomenal results! I initially started training to avoid injuries while playing tennis. Now, I’m starting to see and feel the results in my tennis game! I can now activate my abs, glutes and hamstrings to assist in my performance. I no longer have an achey back during a long match. My posture is upright and I am much more aware of how to use my body. I feel like I’m training as a professional athlete and it’s fun. This place is a great discovery!

I’ve been workout in big gyms for a long time and have never had results like this. I’m stronger, toner and overall more fit. Spencer at Meant2move is absolutely an amazing trainer. He listens to what my needs are and builds a program to help me. I find myself adding more days of training because it’s so much fun working out! Spencer is one of the best trainers I’ve ever met. His workouts are always different, challenging and fun. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about fitness. I love learning new exercises and seeing the results - I really feel a huge difference in the way I look!

Let me preface my review by saying that I NEVER workout with men. I don't have male doctors, massage therapists, etc. I just feel more comfortable with women. So, when I spoke with Spencer about coming in for a free consultation, I was hesitant. I can honestly say, though, that he has been completely professional. More than that, he is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain how our bodies were meant to move and why we experience pain in everyday life or when we try other fitness routines. But my ultimate reason for continuing with Meant 2 Move is that I feel so much better! I had no quality of life prior to going there. I had been completely inactive with major aches, pains, and autoimmune issues for three years! However, Spencer ends every session with stretching. Between the functional fitness and the stretching, I have been given a new lease on life. My husband actually encouraged me to add sessions to my routine because of the difference it has made for my family, now that I am active and well again! The sessions have been a small price to pay in comparison to the release of pain and newfound mobility I've experienced!
