MedExpress Urgent Care, Brandon FL

Every time I go to them, they do everything they can to help me. Today they made a mistake with my check-in, they apologized and did everything in their hands to fix it. To me, that’s valuable. They also helped me with other issues. Excellent staff.

They say they close at 8pm, I got there at 6: 28 only to get turned away by the receptionist. She informed me the doctors tell her when to stop taking patients. There was only a few cars in the parking lot. Guess the Doctor had a date.

The staff at the Brandon Med-express is amazing. And through these difficult times they do manage to have a well organized system to get you in and out. The rooms and office is well kept. Everyone is friendly and considerate. And regardless of insurance status or patient type treatment is fair and you are felt cared for.

This place is horrendous. No shade anywhere they have people sitting outside in the heat just to tell them later that they have a fever. Second, they are extremely rude. I called to bring my friend over and they kept pushing to take her to the ER without even asking for symptoms. LAZY. Them my friend has anxiety & didnt want to be seen on her own, they DIDN'T respect her wishes nor offer a FEMALE to be in the room with her.

If you value your rights DO NOT COME HERE.

Got here before 8am was placed on list was called twice and answered all questions then was told there was 3 people ahead of me it’s now 11: 17 called again and was told you just “have to wait “ could not even give me eta

Went there with my friend who just got the Covid vaccine and was not feeling well, her arm was numb and had difficulty breathing. A member of staff came out and told us they had only one doctor and that they were not accepting any more patients. Extremely insensitive, no empathy whatsoever.

Fantastic staff! I went in for a walk in rapid Covid test before a planned trip as a precaution. Arrived right when they opened at 8 am and waited appx 2 hours to be tested, as expected. Every single parking spot was full, so you know they were slammed, but each staff member I spoke with was calm, polite and pleasant. I got my results back in 20 mins and unfortunately ended up with a positive result (thankfully I’ve only had mild symptoms and am fine, but hello cancelled vacation and 10 day quarantine) and was visibly upset. The nurse was SO kind and empathetic, you can tell she really cares about her patients. Definitely recommend this location - and THANK YOU to the great staff that made this situation a little bit easier

I went at 7: 45am, waited until 8am to call. Then, the phones where dropping my call saying they are busy, probably 10 people waiting. So, I waited until 9: 30am to call again and they are saying no more covid test, that they only see 100 people. Liars, liars, and more lies. There was not 100 people. They probably working with the government to make this process more difficult.

Got to Med express with Flu like symptoms at 8: 30 am.

They told me it would be about 2 hours.

It is 2 pm and I am still sitting here in the parking lot.

This is not healthcare.

Everyone was very professional and understanding of my needs. Even though I didn’t want to go to the doctor, you made me feel comfortable. They were fast, efficient and friendly. The doctor explained everything that they were doing. I would highly recommend this Med Express for your urgent medical care.

I needed a COVID test for work and asap. I called and was told to come early and expect to wait. After reading some reviews online i was expecting mediocre customer service and an extensive wait time, so i arrived at open (8am) and expected to stay possibly all morning long.
I called 8: 03 and was checked in and called back 20 minutes later to register. Another 20 minutes triage called and quickly went through and told me to come inside and again quickly performed the test. Everyone to this point was friendly, busy and efficient.
You can tell they are slammed but doing a really good job given the circumstances.
The walls are thin so unless they sound proof the walls it's near impossible not to hear the staff, but overall the staff impressed me and was straight up about the situation. I believe if i made an appointment anywhere else i would experience the same or worse service/wait time.
Happy I went, and early!

We went for a covid test. Everyone we spoke to was professional and very courteous. Be patient, you may have to wait, but they are very organized. Once we were called in from the parking lot, we were put in a room, vitals taken, swabs for the test, waited 20 minutes, then a doctor shared the results and examined us. We had a great experience.

Excellent service and super knowledgeable and helpful staff! The best Urgent Care in Brandon. From the front staff, the manager to the provider in the back they were so friendly and made my visit a great experience. Wont hesitate to return and recommend to anyone needing medical services.

I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. The rudest customer service I have ever experience. The older lady doing triage needs training in patient care or simply retire asap. Decided not to continue service here and went to Advent Health, what a difference. Do yourself a favor and just pick something else!

This is the new med express moved from Seffner on MLK and parsons to Brandon on 60 between Kings and Parsons, if you plan on getting in fast or even in a decent amount of time forget it, this is the worst clinic to come to. In the state of Florida here for a pre employment drug screen. Had to pee when I got here and been sitting. 3 hrs. No you don't want to come here

If I could give a Zero I would. They wanted to do a COVID test because he has ear pain.no other symptoms. When I refused they said that he didn't have active insurance. I went to another walk in and insurance was fine. Sad when COVID runs the world still!
