We are paying for TV and Internet that does not work. We’ve had 3 working hours of Wi-Fi usage in the past 3 weeks. Someone came out yesterday to replace the modem and it’s already crapped out. They can’t get anyone here for another 8 days after coming out yesterday.

This company should be shut down.

Extremely Disappointed with Mediacom: Unreliable Service and Terrible Customer Support

I am writing this review to express my utmost disappointment and frustration with the services provided by Mediacom. As an internet service provider, they have failed on multiple fronts, leaving me deeply dissatisfied as a customer.

First and foremost, the service is outrageously expensive for the quality it delivers. I am paying a premium price for an internet connection that has proven to be incredibly unreliable. It's mind-boggling that I have experienced three separate outages in just this week alone. As a remote worker, my ability to effectively perform my job relies heavily on a stable internet connection. Unfortunately, Mediacom has consistently let me down in this regard.

Equally disheartening is the abysmal customer support experience. When I attempt to report an outage via text, I am directed to an A. I.operator named Molli, who is utterly useless and rarely able to address my issues. The promise of a "Live Agent" only leads to prolonged waiting times, often exceeding 30 minutes. Even when I finally get to speak with a live agent, their assistance has been unhelpful and ineffective in resolving my ongoing connectivity problems.

Mediacom's customer service is severely lacking. Paying customers like myself deserve to be treated with respect and provided with competent support when issues arise. Sadly, Mediacom falls short in both respects. Their empty promises and lack of accountability have left me feeling ignored and undervalued.

Considering the repeated outages and the disruption to my work and personal life, I firmly believe that customers should be compensated for the downtime and inconvenience caused by Mediacom's service failures. It is only fair that the company takes responsibility for their shortcomings and provides appropriate compensation to affected customers.

If there were a viable alternative available in my area, I would switch internet service providers without hesitation. Mediacom's apparent disregard for its customers and their needs is truly disheartening. It is a stark reminder that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, I strongly urge anyone considering Mediacom as their internet service provider to think twice. The service is unreliable, the customer support is terrible, and the company's overall lack of care for its customers is unacceptable. I hope that Mediacom takes immediate action to address these issues and provide better service and support. Until then, I will actively discourage others from choosing Mediacom and seek out alternative providers for myself.

Poor customer service. The first girl did not understand the English language or either she was not listening. The second guy sounded like a used car salesman and just wanted to upgrade me to everything and hurry to give him my CC number. He couldn't even tell me how mush he was going to run my card far. LOL Just it will be higher this month and lower next month after the $45 connection fee falls off. What a joke.

Mediacom is horrible, have to reboot constantly, sometimes 10 times a day. Talked with CS more than 6 times, had tech out, no solution! Will buy my own. OK, here we are a couple ofyears later, 3 8 2023, same ole stuff. My husband called to see if we could get a less expensive price. After talking to the agent, she hung up on him, never called us back. WORST COMPANY OVER
