Mellow Mushroom Jacksonville - Town Center

First time coming in, hostess was accommodating, waitress was really rude and demeaning. Figured she was maybe having a bad day, but then I ordered a vegan cheese pizza, she made it a point that she would make sure it was vegan. Came to give us the pizza and said she watched the cook to make sure it was vegan.it wasn't. I have a milk protein allergy. So much for being a specialty place with options.

Waited 15 minutes to be seated everyone got their food before us even the people that came after us because were black of course if you do go don’t get the Buffalo chicken pizza it tastes like hand sanitizer or they just put hand sanitizer on our pizza because we are black

Came in on a rainy night and service was great. It started out a bit slow think they had a few people in training.but we all start somewhere right! Once our waitress came the ball got rolling ordered the wings and the mighty meaty pizza. Everything was hot and delicious. Management and other team members were out on the floor making sure everyone was taken care of. I might just go out my way to visit this location again considering I have another one closer to me, but my experience was really nice.

Used to go here more often pre-pandemic. Hoping to make it out again soon with coworkers!

I was soooo happy with the food here. I'm lactose intolerant so pizza is normally a no-go for me. However, Mellow has a great vegan cheese that tastes like a fine curd ricotta. It was perfect on the vegan crust with no butter, plus all the tasty toppings I wanted and they didn't skimp on that sausage because I'm not a vegan and love my meats. I'll definitely be back!

Pizza, service, and atmosphere were fantastic! They were out of the first 2 beers I ordered, but these days that is to be expected with shipping delays. Highly recommend, patio area is pet friendly for those with 4 legged children.
