Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, Davenport FL

Absolutely unprofessional. We waited for 5 minutes before anybody attended the front. There were no sample cups on display so we had to use the fro yo cups and the owner was upset that we did that. He talked about how he was in the back on a phone call. Then the owner asked if I was born in America and then asked my girlfriend if she was born in America as well. I felt extremely uncomfortable and he started talking about illegal migrants in America. Really felt like the man was a racist but I’m sure he’ll be on here to defend a lousy excuse on his professionalism. I absolutely do not recommend this place to not even my worst enemy. Owner is an absolute weirdo

Never disappoints! Clean, friendly staff, good variety and it was decorated for Christmas beautifully! Great job guys! This is a Championsgate great location!

Great Christmas atmosphere for this time of year and very friendly staff! Came during a massive rain storm and was welcomed and assisted with each flavor. They also allow samples for the flavor you would like!

Went on a night that Evan and Bobby were working they did a great job at explaining for it being my first time would recommend.

I visited today and upon entry the two employees were very friendly. I just moved to FL and was looking forward to Menchie’s. I got only chocolate ice cream in my cup and closed out at the register with my boyfriend as well. We left and I tried the ice cream in the car about 3 miles away and it was unpleasantly sour, as if the milk went bad. We drove back in the pouring rain and I explained what happened to the now 1 employee at the counter and he was reluctant and not buying the story and called the manager. He kept asking if i got sauces or something that skewed the taste. I didn’t add any sauce and said no… it tastes foul/spoiled. While he was on the phone there was a woman at the counter waiting to pay who oversaw the encounter and she looked concerned and mentioned she had chocolate in her cup too. She tried the ice cream and spit it out back into her cup and agreed with me. Employee was still on the phone so we went to fill up replacement ice cream. The employee got off the phone and said if we got replacement ice cream, best they could do was a coupon off. I left promptly after. Ridiculous. I’ve never experienced such foul customer service.

Half of the frozen yogurt machines were empty and so were the syrup dispensers. The tables and floors were not clean and the two workers there seemed so miserable that they couldn’t be bothered that the one worker at the cash register was rolling his eyes for no reason.

Visited with a large family group (13 of us) as we’ve tried Menchie’s all over the world and love what they do - this place just wasn’t at the usual Menchie’s standard. Upon entering the store there were no members of staff at the register… so knowing what to do, I took a cup and proceeded to fill it with my frozen yogurt. When the young member of staff appeared he didn’t even acknowledge we were in the store - very strange as we are used to a friendly welcome in stores we have visited previously. Took our finished deserts to the cash register to pay, the member of staff didn’t even speak to us - just motioned to the scales as if to indicate put it there. We paid and went to sit down. Desert was tasty as usual for us. Just terrible customer service, if you don’t want to work there - don’t! Other members of our party then arrived and so did an older member of staff, we thought maybe things would be better for them but sadly no, he was just as uninterested as the younger member of staff - really poor levels of service. If you fancy a frozen desert make sure to avoid this place and spend your money with a place that appreciates its customers like Twistee Treat

Place is nice but no customer service. People were nice. But beware of the “tip” they suggest on credit card purchases. They make it seem as though you have to tip… but obviously I’m not. You didn’t even say hi to me…. Giving me a spoon does not require a tip. However the vegan options were decent.

Great frozen yogurt I had the pineapple and added fresh fruit with chocolate sauce! I
was asked if I would like a cold drink perfect! So yummy! The young guy at the counter was super cute and very friendly! Keep up the great customer service loved my experience!

This store always puts some more charges that you get, be careful and review your receipt. And they said press green bottom and it's charge automatic 15%tip without your approval. I'm not happy with the owner intention here.

Excellent experience. My baby girl isn’t feeling great and dropped her cup right outside just right now and I was treated with compassion, he didn’t let me clean up (did it himself) and let my daughter replace it free. Thank you so much.

One of the dirtiest Menchie’s I have ever been to. There were toppings all over the floor, the floor was sticky, just looked disgusting. Wouldn’t recommend this location.

A fantastic froyo place. They always have great flavors and fantastic service! Literally everyone who works there is super nice. We have only had awesome experiences there!

Saw a girl on tiktok talk about how just straight up disrespectful this place is.get your employees in check

I recently came across someone saying that they came to this exact munchie's location and had a very rude interaction with an employee over a spoon for there daughter and napkins the employee accused the guy of stealing the napkins i do not want the employee to get fired but just to be told that he was wrong

Best froyo i've ever tasted it has been my favorite for years! I love the flavors, the toppings, and the decorations!

We went to eat on Saturday, April 1,2023. One of your employees had a runny noise, cough and was handling the toppings with dirty hands, he coughed and touched the toppings, he coughed over the toppings. What kind of hygiene do they have for one to be able to consume these ice creams? I never come back
