Merritt Island Little League

We love our Little League community! My daughter doesn't want to play softball anywhere else … she’s made amazing friends (as have I!), and she’s grown so much in the sport, under the guidance of our amazing volunteer coaches!

My son has made a ton of friends and has really enjoyed playing for Merritt Island Little League! He’s learned a lot and has loved all of his coaches.

I have been part of the MILL community for a decade now, and I am proud to say that I have never come across a more dedicated group of people who are all driven by the same goal: to help our children excel in a sport we all love. As an introvert, volunteering did not come easily to me, but the MILL community is more than just a sports league; it's like an extended family. For me, giving back to this community is the perfect fit. One thing that sets MILL apart from other programs on the island is that all volunteers go through a background check. This makes a huge difference to mothers like myself who want to ensure their children's safety.

What a league! Never have I seen a group of volunteers that cares more about the overall well being of kids, on and off the field everyone is so dedicated to building the best league possible. Not to mention MILL has the best looking coaches around, there's one tall tall drink a water that makes sitting in the scorching sun for hours so worth it.

As a Softball Coach and someone who plays a role in the Travel Community, Merritt Island Little League does a great job for the game as well as community involvement. Their All Star Seasons in SB have really grown over the past few years and it’s a lot of fun to watch. From youth all the way to high school
Involvement, it’s a great way to grow and represent the community. All Star Softball Jerseys were a different class compared to their competition.

Ask for a waiver and go elsewhere so that your child has a chance. Allstars, is only for board members sons, coaches son's and their click.in my opinion if you raise and donate money they will happily take it and cut your son. Go to travel ball where your kid will actually be taught something, and and get better with competition.if they continue this route, mediocracy is the best you can expect in this league.

Merritt Island Litte League months ago scheduled my food truck to come out on opening day. We have done this event more then one year. I guess whoever they have organizing this event is new and switched things up this year. Now only communication is done by email only, I was unaware of this change. So after turning down several other gigs, we keep the one we committed to, as the date arrived, we held up to our agreement and showed up like past years only to get told we were not setting up today cause we didn't see an email. After asking, we'll if you didn't get a response from me after you booked my truck, you couldn't just pick up the phone and ask why? She told me, why should she give me any special treatment. This was how my small business was treated today. Btw, today is my birthday, so thanks for hurting my small local business on my very special day.
