Metro Self Storage - Tampa

Diana was very helpful and swift! She showed me a unit and helped me walk away with a unit same day!

First time I choose Metro self storage, Diana helped us to show all the storage unit and cost wise good. I would say this is best place and huge storage facility in New Tampa.

Update 12/12/23 I wish to update my review from 4 years ago. Today Ms. Diana was so helpful in helping me get a second unit for the next few months. I learned that my storage facility was quite full but Diana was able to provide me with a ground floor unit that I is just the perfect size. I appreciate the personal service and always always wonderful staff and team that goes above and beyond to take care of me. I have been a customer here since 2009 and would recommend this place to anyone who asks.

I wish I could give Metro Self Storage New Tampa more than 5 stars. John, Steve, the entire team has been so wonderful to me. I have been renting a storage unit at this location for 10 years. After Metro Self Storage took over the entire team has done a great job with continuing to keep the place clean, updated, safe, and friendly. The entire team goes out of there way to make me feel welcome and to take excellent care of me. I receive large deliveries and they are always looking out for me and contacting me to make me aware of shipments coming in so I can be on site to receive them. This is just one of many, many ways they provide excellent service and make their location feel like home. I appreciate how friendly everyone is and how so so helpful they are. I mainly use the unit for business but I have also rented for personal when my family and I moved recently and received the same great service. If you are looking for a place to rent storage in New Tampa or to have quick and easy access from I-75 then I highly recommend the Metro Self Storage location in New Tampa.

Metro Storage is terrible! I obtained a unit online, received my access code but cannot get in using the code that was given to me. No one has reached back out to me I have called multiple times! Poor service.

I want thank Diana for help. She is so caring when it come to your needs. I would recommend Metro self storage.

Nate at the New Tampa location truly deserves a raise. He is a compassionate, kind, and intelligent employee who single-handedly saved my entire life’s worth of stuff. Nathan is phenomenal! He is very thorough with his explanations, works to get you the best deal possible, and offers great customer service. Metro Self Storage continues to make excellent personnel choices… Ashley was amazing and Nathan has picked up the mantle while not missing a beat… Nathan’s customer service is amazing and his communication is impeccable… I was facing a trying situation and felt cared for and as if I was working with a friend… beyond the awesome staff the facility is clean and inviting… If you have to store your items anywhere you can feel confident they will be safe… I wish I could give Nathan and Metro Self Storage 10 stars

1-The keypad screen at the entry gate is defective, no one can read it.
2- The keypad system is also defective, I have to walk inside office to get that gate open
3- when I complain about that screen the employee said “ Ya it’s been always like that and no nee to fix it”

I AM REGRETTING THAT I PICKED THIS FACILITY TO RENT A STORAGE BIG TIME

One of the best experiences I have had with storage units! Shoutout to Nathan for just being awesome and make the process smooth.

This location is clean, quiet, remote, and safe. The crew, both old and new, have always treated me like a VIP. The answering service, on the other hand, does not. I want to be clear in advising that the answering service is not directly part of Metro, therefore I will deduct no stars from Metro's rating. There was an issue involving the answering service and a misunderstanding by the day crew.but Nathan was able to wave a magic wand and make everything better. I trust that Nathan and the rest of the Donna Michele team will succeed in their continued efforts in making every client feel comfortable to instill their trust in Metro. Your prized possessions are safe here.

Metro Storage was incredibly flexible, professional, and accommodating. Nate was amazing. He was kind, professionally, and went above and beyond to make sure the process was smooth, fair, and simple.
Facility is spotless, well kept and conveniently located. I highly recommend Metro Storage and Nate. They will exceed all expectations.
