The volunteers are kind. The people who work up front are cruel, rude condescending "people. " If you HATE helping people so much, why are you here? It says they take walk-ins from 10 to 2 for financial assistance with electric bills. I arrived at 12: 25 and was turned away by two of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with. It's also not the first time I have had to deal with these two particular rude people. The woman who calls herself a supervisor is really foul and sarcastic and loves doing it with a giant sarcastic smile.

SO MANY BAD REVIEWS AND THE GOOD ONES ARE FAKE AND FRAUDULENT BUT NO ONE ALLOW EVIL TO WIN

Great, place huge kindness. And true words of God. Metropolitan Ministries, is a huge help to many families.

I am disabled and on Social security, I went into the food pantry believing that I could get food from the church but I was wrong! A man at the desk asked for ID that I gave him (fl DL, I live in Port Richey) then he wanted a copy of utility bill or form that proved where I lived. I didn't have that so he said he couldn't help me and I left with NOTHING. My opion is they ask to much from us when we don't even like to be there in the first place. SHAME ON YOU. Nobody should leave there hungry and with nothing if you have it.

I went there because we really needed help, we had the interview and they promised to help, we had to take the order of the money, my wife is very sick and has no health insurance, I have spent a lot on biopsies and mammograms and ultrasounds and doctors, I am disabled, I thought they were going to have mercy and they didn't, the manager where I live said that she can't help anymore to wait, they still promised to help.they kept the document and didn't do it

They don't help people who really need help, they want every document in the world, alot of people don't have them to provide.they want your social security 9.they even wanted a letter from my sister stating I can keep food in her fridge.metropolitan ministries is by far the worst church i have ever been to. I woild give tjem a -2 star rating if i could

Lorrie rained down a huge blessing for my granddaughter and I. I felt like God had a part in her decision. I hope to give her a hug one day (under good circumstances).

Horrible horrible horrible this guy named Brian and Leona claim they are helping people but TRUTH IS THERE NOT! I Went their too try to get my GED LEONA AND BRIAN ARE NOT UPFRONT OR TRUTH FUL does not call or text anyone back collects peoples information and never gets in touch it's as if you need to beg too be able to START TURNS OUT THEY HAD NO START DATE AND THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF PHONIE PROPHETS CLAIMING TO LOVE OTHERS AND LOVE GOD ITS AN ABSOLUTE SHAME

This is place is a total joke, for sure not Godly, liars and a attitude security guard. First I called a couple times explaining I am a homeless Disabled Veteran MST Survivor. The lady on the phone who said her name was sharron said pull around to the back of building. She told me to do this because I told her i have no electric bill for proof of residence. The only proof is that i am a hungry living here and there as a struggling Disabled Veteran in the area. Metropolitan Ministries Armed Security Guard first off kept insisting I had to sit down. I said I will stand here by the door until he can find out info on Sharron. The security guard continues bullying and shouting. At this point my nerves are already agitated by the security guard so I escaped outside. Next the armed Security Guard starts to question me in a bully way about my Disability shouting why don't you go to Bay Pines for food. I looked at him and I was shocked on why I was being question like I am criminal. When All I am here is to pick up some food to get by. The Armed Security Guard next Follows me to my vehicle taking pictures. A nice young college lady came out and brought me small amount of breakfast stuff. But why should a Disabled Veteran with Disabilities be question, bullied and threaten. I am sure if I was to talk down to the security guard like he did to me by bulling and threaten me. There was no doubt in my mind I would have ended up on the 5pm Local News because the Armed Security Guard would have utilized his pistol in some way. A Disabled Veteran MST Survivor just seeking FOOD. It's sad that Uncle Scam Trash continues to destroy this Great United States Of America. I just spoke to a 97 year old German Woman and I asked her.do you believe their is a Silent History Channel in the world? The 97 year old womans response. Yes. And here is a perfect example of it in which Metropolitan Ministries inflicting some kind bullying, favoritism, threaten intimidation ways for someone who is hungry just seeking food.

Metropolitan ministries is Barney Great place to get the help you need to put your life in the right direction. They will help you with many many things and things you wouldn't even think you need help with. Thank you Metropolitan Ministries.

The people that are a part of this organization are so kind and helpful. They provide a list of the food or clothing that your family qualify for. It allows for you to pick what you want so nothing goes to waste.

I couldn't be more grateful for the people that help and what this group does. The building is so large it is a little difficult to understand where to go. The assistance program is out of their building in the front parking lot on the furthest south buildings front door.

They greet you and ask for your name and a recent bill to verify where you live. Be prepared with the bill and a photo ID.

It's my favorite charity to give to and personally donate to. They do so much for the communities in and around Tampa bay area. Also the people that volunteer to help are so caring and kind. As long as I'm in this community I will continue to help. And would recommend anyone who can to do so.

Great place and friendly, this year I went to their outpost at a church in pasco for Christmas stuff. The center gave me infant toys for a 4 and 15 yr old boy. Next year if I need help again I'll go back down to holiday. I definitely miss the old way they did things where parents can pick from of age appropriate items.

This place does amazing things for the community and those in need from food to clothes and even helping with financial assistance in some cases.

Volunteers and Donations are always needed so they can continue to help those who need it.
