Metropolitan Technical Career Institute reviews
10They lied you have to wait 50 days until after your class to take a cna exam! What type of school is this they lied and kept that information from you.
Vickie was amazing and makes sure that you understand everything! Best learning experience for a person that asks many questions!
I recently completed the medical administrative assistant online course and I really enjoyed it! I thought it was laid out and easy for me to follow. The assignments were very beneficial to the entire learning process and I really liked the flexibility like logging on at my convenience and completing homework/assignments during the week (considering my tight schedule). Also, each chapter was very informative! Overall, I feel I learned a lot in the course. Thanks again:)!
I just finished my clinical weekend with Vicky as our hands on instructor. She was fabulous. She brought everything together for me. Meaning, the online coursework and Vicky's thoughtful way of bringing the online portion of the course to life in the clinical setting. Thank you Vicky for the your time and expertise in phlebotomy. I believe you are an excellent teacher.
I recently completed the Esthetician program at MTCI with Sue being my instructor. She was amazing! She has so much knowledge about the industry and is very patient! She is always available to answer my questions and taught me so many great techniques and valuable information I will take with me in my esthetics career. I would recommend this program to anyone!
Had such a positive experience at clinicals this weekend! Our instructor Vicky was absolutely amazing and so so helpful! Her teaching and education is phenomenal so if you're looking for the phlebotomy course I 100% suggest coming here I couldn't thank her enough for all she has taught me
Worst school I've ever attended. Google everything because they offer no guidance. I was removed from the program for standing up for myself. That was the best thing this school ever did because I believe they now lost a vendor with my vocational rehab center. They teach NOTHING you do it all yourself. No guidance, even the book doesn't have the answers they expect you to know and they literally said "Google it" save the money challenge the state and DONT GO HERE!
10/10. Thanks to Mrs Vicki as a phlebotomist instructor. I recommend this institute for phlebotomy program.
This place is a disaster. As for the esthetician course, they’ll take your money and give you no schedule, no syllabus, and you’ll have no idea what to expect. You’re just waiting on an email, then the course will start a week late. All of your coursework is copied straight from the textbook and none of it gets graded. They will forget to reach out to you to do your in-person practicals, so your only option will be to take time off of your work to get it done in time. They’ll then give you one month to complete 25 waxes and 25 full facials. You’ll need to provide all of your own products, your own bed, and find your own models. They’ll then call you and say you have one week to submit the videos or they’ll charge you $150 to extend the course (also never mentioned before signing up). When you reach out to Vanessa (the owner) to express your frustration, she’ll completely gaslight you and tell you it’s all your fault. She’ll laugh in your face, call you names, and threaten to have you removed by security (all of which I have on video). If you can’t afford a better option, atleast ask for all of the expectations and deadlines in writing because there is no standard here. It’s just whatever benefits the school.
My 5 stars go to my hands on instructor for the Facial Specialist program Sue Power! Sue is amazing! Not only is she knowledgeable, patient and super helpful (even outside of your actual in person time with her), she's kind, down to earth and wants to see you succeed! I couldn't have done it without her and all her assistance, she's the biggest asset this school has!
