Mexican Carnitas, Plantation FL

To be honest, this is my new favorite restaurant very fresh, delicious, and authentic. Highly recommended.

I am Central American and I love this place, I feel at home every time I eat here! The owner of the place is very friendly and attentive.

We stopped in for a quick dinner and this place hit the spot. We‘ve ordered pupusas, sopes, tacos, and gorditas. Most of the dishes can be made GF! We ordered mostly vegetarian but shrimp tacos. It was all very delicious. The pupusas come with a spicy cabbage slaw that is really crunchy and perfect with the salty and cheesy pupusa. We will definitely be back.

I've been here a few times now and the food is so authentic and tasty! The owner is super friendly and sweet. I love to support a small, family owned business and will be making this a weekly staple. Try the gorditas! Photos to come.

Awesome authentic Mexican food. The carnita tacos were amazing, the chicken tacos were fantastic! Definitely becoming one of my favorite spots in the area. Prices are also great. Oh I had the nachos con carne y queso as an appetizer, I couldn't believe how much I loved it.

This place had the best papusas I've had state-side. Sandra was sweet and attentive. The restaurant was relaxing and we will surely be back.

Convenient little homestyle Mexican restaurant in the heart of Plantation. The food tastes pretty good and the presentation is decent. I can tell this place is newer, so they do have a few things that they can improve on but overall the staff is friendly and the food isn’t bad. I can’t say that I’m counting down the days until I can return, but its an affordable option for a family style Mexican food. Also takeout may be a better option as there’s very little seating options and the restaurant is on the smaller side.

LOVE this place. Owners are super nice and I love supporting their business. Food is so good I took the pictures after I started munching so that why it looks a lil messy but I got the pollo on the plancha with rice and beans and comes with a salad. And the spinach dip. Great food for a great price.

There is a distinct smell that makes you think twice about dining in. So sad. It looks like a nice place but the sewage smell is just horrid.

The owner is HORRIBLE! An employee mad an error not that serious. She called everyone who ordered during that time frame and was RUDEEEE! Good food horrible person! No thank you

Not sure why this place gets so many 5* reviews. It was terrible, the food was so plain and fajitas without any guacamole or sour cream or anything. Meat was burned, pepper taste spoiled. Got really sick after eating at this place.

I wouldn't call it mexican but central American home style cooking. Friendly reasonably priced food like you get in a Latino household. Unpretentious casual clean. I don't feel like I'm in florida it has the vibe of every local place in Costa rica Panama Honduras Colombia etc.

The chips are crispy & love that they are thin not too thick. And the tacos are authentic. I definitely will come back here.

Very good food I've eaten here twice now and it's very consistent with food coming out in 20-30 minutes as well as great prices for food and drinks!

We just came back from a scrumptious lunch at Mexican Carnitas, Plantation FL. I had a beef gordita and a taco al pastor (pork), and my friend had one beef and one shrimp taco. Everything was delicious, full of flavor, and well garnished. Prices are very reasonable and the service was friendly with helpful suggestions. We will definitely be back to try more of the variety of dishes. Highly recommend!

This is the real Latin food experience! The place is nice and clean. The food is just amazing. The tortillas are handmade and the flavor is excellent. All is made from scratch.
