Security guard is really incompetent and she is armed too. Rolling her eyes and not doing her job properly. I hate that sometimes Miami feels like a third world country

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE on the rules and regulations when it comes to providing information to the public. I don’t know if this establishment is scamming people out of their money, but it’s not right. I ordered a registration and a copy of my title online and it got lost in transit. A rep from Tallahassee informed me that I go to my local tax collectors office to get a replacement for both documents at no charge. Window 5 at the tax collectors office stated she could only release the registration to me because I haven’t reached the time frame to receive the title and that I would have to come back a week later. I came back today Window 11 is saying I either Pay $10 because Tallahassee did not put a stop on their end or pay $85 to get a duplicate. I spoke with the manager of the tax collectors office and this is what he saying and that I shouldn’t waste my time contacting Tallahassee because they are going to tell me the same information. Once I left the office because you have to pay for parking, I reached someone from Tallahassee and they said that they are INCORRECT. The form they had me fill out stated that documents lost in transit would have NO FEE the supervisor stated that it was a typo that it didn’t state that it have to be a force stop on Tallahassee end in order to avoid a fee. The tax collectors office is refusing to release my title.

I’m paying too much money for my property tax! I don’t have any problems paying for my them especially for the city that I love the most! But I don’t see any improvement in public services, with the increased taxes. I will suggest to the Mayor to investigate this concerning and suspicious matter.
To conclude, I strongly recommend retraining the customer representatives specifically when providing information and their poor listening skills.

Came here to transfer a California title. There was a 30 min line outside and another 30 min wait indoors. Despite that, everything went smoothly thereafter and reasonably quick. I was out after 30 min. The lady on window 10 was very helpful and friendly did her job diligently.

I feel this site was very knowledgeable and safe. The clerk was informed and helpful. My wait time was acceptable as this is a main office and there were others ahead of me (about 15 min). The parking spaces in the building are tight and expensive. All in all it is a government office that I feel is worth going to.

They are charging my mother over $60,000 because the documents they mail each year were not clear of what needs to be done should the person that applied for homstead excemption moves. However when brought to Mr. Garcias attention he disclaimed that every year there is a form with a big STOP sign that gives specific information. However the issue in hand is prior to that copy right form they now send. Truly if there is no change who opens the same document you have read over and over for years. I don't and I feel it is unfair for a retired senior after paying for her home has to pay for their error of not being clear with what needed to be done. I'm sure many have had to have paid for this same because if that was not the case why add that form that now states clearly what needs to happen. So many commiting fraud and get away with it. My mom who went to get her senior discount to her home which is minimum but as a retired senior every bit helps. She was surprised weeks later with the bill of over $60,000. No resolution but to pay which will bring a hardship for her and she is getting in debt to not accumulate more interest on the balance. The only thing Mr. Garcia assured us is not to worry becuase she will not lose her house for not payment. Of course more interest to accumulate and when she sells her house if she needed to that is when they will get their payment with all accumulated interest. Very sad that the system has no resolution for this type of errors from them not us the citizens and can not help without an attorney which as well you need funds for to hire.

This was my first time coming to this office, not only they are fast and professional, Mrs. Olga Garcia was absent delightful to work with, she was patient, understanding and tremendously helpful. She saved me, like literally. I was able to get everything done.

While the clerk was very professional and good-mannered, I was flabbergasted by the troglodyte, uncalled-for ton-ton macoute attitude of the security guards -not even true cops- who seem hellbent like a wolf pack on arbitrarily intimidate the tax-paying fellows who go over there, in order to establish their notion of "order by fear".

As if following a totalitarian script, a miserable creole-speaking security guard happened to get irritated at the simple fact that, during a pandemic, I took the liberty of applying some of the hand sanitizer at the entrance, claiming stupidly it was Miami-Dade County's property, to which I had to remind him that property was paid with the tax money I had just delivered.

They are truly a liability to all of us, and a ticking lawsuit about to happen, which, like the hand sanitizer, will be paid by all of us.

Olga Garcia in window 8 was not helpful at all. She seems to be like she doesn't want to work she took long doing nothing and look for many excuses to don't do her job. I couldn't do my transfer title just because she didn't want it to do it, I have done it before without any problem.

I visited this office yesterday. Each and every person
with whom I came in contact was welcoming, helpful,
friendly, professional and went out of their way to
assist me. I was there to obtain Florida license plates
as I had out of state plates. Since there was titling
involved I received a temp plate. I must return to
obtain my permanent plate. This was such a
pleasant experience that I look forward to returning.
Thank you to this exceptional team.

Nice and helpful staff. The wait was short and they were very quick with solving my problem. Lunch time is the busiest.

Jackie Mendel at window 11 is amazing! So helpful and made everything easy.
Make sure you do your research before you go and have all you need.
They do not take ANY cards so you need a check or money order.
