Too pricey and will likely put you in debt. Who tf is paying 40k to a school with no guarantee you will succeed in life. If I'm paying that much I'm supposed to win a Grammy at this point. They dont seem to take you serious when your a teen tryna apply for that college.

I went to this school for a year before I realized the education wouldn't prepare me to get a job in my field (Animation). Their animation instructors do not have industry experience or even websites to check their work. This is a very expensive school and many of the students who graduate from this place leave with no jobs and a huge amount of student debt. You're better off getting an associates degree from Miami-Dade and applying to a reputable school like Ringling.

You’re better off getting your degree from YouTube. Outdated equipment, lack of care from staff, hard to get things done. It was a long journey

I love this place. I was there on opening day and i'm not sure why but it too me about a year to come back and take a class.

It was beyond great! I took screen printing for newbies with Nicole and she was super awesome and funny too.

It's such a happy place.the walls breathe with passion and love and tons of ideas i am overwhelmed with happiness when i'm in there

I can't wait to take more classes and support Kelly and all her awesome teachers.

Unreal, I been trying to get a hold of someone. I have jobs! Jobs for people that will graduate or have graduated and nobody seems to care to call me back, what a disgrace.

The place was fun, back then, but corrupt as hell. If you think the staff now is bad, you should have seen it back then. So after IFAC sold out, Ai, stepped in. Both schools were big on enrollment and low on education. You educate yourself or you play with daddy's money, or sugar daddy's (whatever is your thing). Massive classes are normal, watching people drop out is also normal. Very stressful and hectic work loads and study loads. No mercy school. It's like boot camp (graphic design was). This is school for 70% Puerto Rican's, (Ai lobby big there), The islands (Barbados, Jamaica, etc.) And other kids out of state. If your local and here, you believed the hype. Expensive is an understatement. Normal to see lots of people with $ there who don't speak a word of English. Normal to see them PASS.
School attracts Plenty of good looking girls, who usually escort. Escorting is big here. Anyway, curriculum is garbage. The worst teacher in the place is possibly Alex Herria (not as a person, I don't know him like that) but any teacher that greets you with "I drive a BMW and run a newspaper and make $ and I don't care if you learn or not", is not very good. Anyway very entitled teachers, but not all. Good teachers are (were), Arthur Rockower (a real pro), Adnan Razack (a funny guy, smart) Adriana Pelligrinni (not there anymore, sadly) and Dr. Tejera (great political historian) I had some teachers hit on me point blank in class, had a high level administrator do the same (strange woman) Bad ones are too many to list. Typical show school, show off central and meat market. You can speak pure supermarket Spanish here and pass your classes.very strange, the classes thin out over time. The staff are some dinosaurs from IFAC, some jerks who found their way here and never went anywhere else. Rude, to the extreme.
Don't expect: to learn much, to be respected, to have good tutors, to have fun classes or to graduate knowing much.
Heavy on design principals and low on learning how to run a business. Classes are really expensive. Hard to get job placement. I've known designers who can't get a gig at anywhere but a printing press doing club flyers. You compete with the Miami Ad School (Miami Beach), and about half of Brazil and Colombia, who produce great designers with no qualms about working for 8 bucks an hour (Florida is nonunion after all).
Garbage. In every sense of the word. Many teachers got canned, and many more should have. It was sort of fun when it was new, but it fades fast. School is a disaster. They're in it for the money. Nobody cares if You learn or not. If you slept or not, if you work 3 jobs. That's your problem Jose.
"Dorms" are apartments in the hood, coed. 5 People to 2 bedrooms slammed in like sardines. It's like vacationing in East L. A.and telling your friends back home you live in Beverly Hills.
Management may have something to say about this review, but management aren't saddled with $30,000+ in school loans and a worthless education. Thank God I am self taught and own my own business otherwise I'd be screwed. Parents: watch out, school is popular for teachers who ah, help the student body achieve things, especially naive 18 year olds never been out of Vermont.
Save your money. Study at FIU, UM or anywhere else. Fashion design and Interior design degrees are worth zilch. Place is still open because the school makes money from foreign students who don't know better.
Film and Animation: be connected BEFORE you go here.
Fashion & Interior: have rich parents or a sugar daddy. Make sure you don't mind working the counter at Macy's!
Tremenda basura.
Glad I left. Good people are very few. Met some great students who are unforgettable. For that alone I would pay $30G's +, but you can get the same education with a bootlegged copy of Photoshop and tutorials from YouTube.
Their motto should be: "Lo que cuenta aqui, es el CASH! "

Absolute disaster of institution, from financial services to student advisers. If I could I would not even be given them the one star, they are not even worth it. No one knows what is going on and the incompetence of the people that work in BOTH departments is astonishing. You have to figure out everything on your own with zero guidance, mostly because people are NOT there to help at all. Always nasty and with an attitude and have no respect to the students that pay RIDICULOUS amount of money each quarter. If your objective is to learn, I STRONGLY advice you look somewhere else…. Once you enroll you are stuck. NONE of the credits transfers to ANY other University or College and half the time you have to auto teach yourself. This place has given me more headaches and locked doors than actual opportunities. So do yourself a favor and RUN away from this lie of a “University”

Very sad to hear about the numerous negative reviews. If this institution cared about the education and/or their reputation they would respond to all the negative reviews. However more importantly, the school should take these criticisms TO HEART and improve the quality of the institution. Also having lawsuits brought against you by governing agencies is horrendous! BUYER BEWARE - as the expression goes.

The teachers are not motivated at all. Had better art teachers in high school. Really can't recommend the school. Their idea of class is having you read an article and making a resume.

I have been in the industry for 22 years and have yet to hire anyone from this school worth while. I felt my civic duty to save people the money. We end up training and teaching them some of the most basic skills.

This school has a great potential to grow into one of the best art universities in Florida, graphic design thought in here is pretty good. What about other majors, I am not sure

The worst education you can get with a high cost, it is ridiculous! This institution is a joke! I really REALLY regret it, it hAS BEEN THE WORST DECISION AND CHOICE! DO NOT GO OR EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME IN APPLYING TO THIS SCAM OF EDUCATIONAL PLACE OR WHATEVER THIS IS! DO NOT GOOOOO! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND EVERYTHING and go to a a REAL UNIVERSITY! This does not even deserve a star, but if I don't choose a star them my comment would not be posted!

Get a new security guard. This poor excuse for a human wouldn't let me use the restroom. Who is so mean that they wouldn't let a pregnant woman use the bathroom? ! Mind you, I graduated from this rip-off of school 3 years ago. I paid $60,000 to this place and was turned away when I needed to use the bathroom in an emergency. I want nothing to do with this school. I wish they would stop calling me every week.

It is a huge amount of money, but the fashion design program is pretty thorough. I felt that I had a great experience and it allowed me to really take my art seriously. The professors are wonderful. Sure, there are some bad eggs, but every college has a few of those.

The school is such a waste of time, I just finished as a film graduate and everytime the school offers me a job in my field. The job seems to be a complete waste of my time, after three times I was offered an opportunity. Going to this school was the biggest mistake of my life.
