Michael D's BBQ reviews
15Great local place for excellent BBQ! I love the sauces and the sides are all great. I went for the Pork sandwich and Mac and Cheese today.
Michael D’s took great care of us at our company event. The food was excellent, the service was on time, and everyone was super hospitable for our catering requests. We will be back!
Stopped here with 15 hungry, oladies' college volleyball team.
Micheal out did himself. If you want true Tennessee Pork, this is your place. The service was the fastest ever.
We love this place. We always stop her going/coming from PCB. Everything is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it. You won't regret it.
Stopped on our way home from the beach! All the employees were so kind and the food was amazing! I will definitely stop next time I pass through.
I live in Panama City and drive here for the food. This guy knows what he's doing with barbecue. I wish this place was closer to home.
You know the meat is good when you don't even need the BBQ sauce! Best BBQ in a long time! We will definitely be back.
Amazing BBQ place off 231! I got the ribs platter which came with 2 sides (got slaw and potato salad) and the serving size was perfect. There were two homemade sauces we tried; bbq and mustard bbq. Both were great homemade sauces. The ribs were tender and had a unique smokiness taste to them. And the staff and owner were all nice!
Meat was really good, smoked to perfection. The portions are very generous they don’t skimp you on the meat portions or sides. I got a pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese, not too expensive and they put a really good amount of meat on the sandwich and the Mac n cheese was really good, definitely not microwaved food, I would suggest this to anyone, reminds me of my hometown Midwest bbq which is really good and really hard to match but they do a really good job.
What a disappointment. Ordered to go as it was 6: 40pm and they close at 7pm. My chicken was dry and they microwaved my husband's brisket which made it chewy and tough. We even asked if they were microwaving it and they said "no, it's baked potatoes", only to have us physically see them pull out a chunk of beef. Honestly, we shouldn't have accepted it but we thought maybe it was for someone else since we asked. Baked beans was the best thing on our plates. Potato salad was very vinegary and the Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box. The coleslaw tasted like KFC's, which I actually like, so that was fine. Cute atmosphere but the food is what we came for. A complete let down.
The bbq is excellent and the portions are plenty. Perfect location for a bite to eat for those traveling on 231. We will definitely be coming back for more.
We got the brisket and baby potatoes with Mac n cheese today, all homemade and delicious, my dad even took a photo of the menu just so he can make up his mind before we get there next time.
Stopped in for dinner to take home. Chicken was moist and lean. The pork sandwich had generous portions of meat and the sides was seasoned perfect! The staff was friendly and the prices just right. Definitely would recommend for some delicious bbq.
Little local joint. Pulled pork was great. Brisket was chewy and soaked in some sort of liquid. Would go back for the pork not the brisket.
This little place is amazing. Great BBQ and great service. Perfect dinner experience after a day at the spring!
