Craft Store Michaels reviews
17I always enjoy shopping at Michaels. I've been a customer for many many years. Unfortunately I have to drive a bit further since I've moved but it's well worth the effort.
Great assortment of craft supplies and typically always have everything you need. However, do not bother with curbside pick up. You will always need to go inside to get them to give your order. As they do not seem tech savvy to understand their system and how to see people arrive for their orders. Both curbside experiences have been terrible, otherwise the store is good. Employees are professional and friendly.
Great variety of products. Only thing I would have liked to see is "how to " books for the crafts, including crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, etc.
The store was clean and, although not very stocked, the employees were nice. Our cashier was training someone and she had a lot going on but it didn't take away from having a pleasant experience. My friend was able to pull up a coupon on site - it helped that they provide wifi.
Love their stores, although I went looking for Halloween decorations and was a bit disappointed because they barely had any this yr.
It's location in Posner Park is fairly convenient for locals & vacationers who wish to stay a few steps away from themed hotels & prefer home or townhouse rentals. VERY CLEAN store, very CLEAN BATHROOMS. Sadly, most retailers are short staffed these days, but the in-store staff is consistently POLITE and VERY HELPFUL. This is a well-stocked store, but I have noticed a reduction in their diversity of product lines. It *must* have good management bcz there is an abundance of choice in the most currently popular trends. Also, kudos to HR, my experiences shopping at this location have always been POSITIVE, INFORMATIVE and satisfying. Even my husband is comfortable to run in this store and buy me little gifts or craft supplies because he knows he can rely on staff, as soon as they are able, will come back & find him to answer his questions and lead him to the right part of the store.
I usually shop at this Michael’s frequently, but will not be returning to this location. Masks are not required for store employees, which is absolutely ridiculous because it is recommended by the CDC to wear them indoors in high transmissible areas (ex: Florida). I do not want to visit somewhere where the store owners do not care for the health and safety of the employees or guests. I will be taking my business elsewhere until this changes. Do better.
Visited looking for screws for a project. They didn't have them, no big deal.
The wife ended up shopping. The signage is annoying. Stuff on sale displays isn't on sale, etc. Staff was adequate but not terribly interested in being helpful. Asked for a few things and no one stopped what they were doing to assist. They went zero for three in customer service. One thing we asked for we were told they didn't have and we accidentally found on our own.
Every time I come here.one register open and a long line of folks waiting to check out. Cashier computer system is extremely slow which causes long delays. Need more staff
I was looking for a water coloring set. They had several to choose from. There were also some nice quality Brushes and a Paper sheet book to use for painting.
Definitely the place to go when you need arts supplies.
Has a great selection of crafts and hobby things. Love the picture frame area, will be buying more when I come back. Help in the store was great.
Store isles were cluttered and very narrow. It was hard to find the product I was looking for, other shoppers were also complaining about clutter. There were no employees to ask for help.finally made it to check out. One checker and a long line. After standing in for about 15 minutes and hadn't moved an inch, returned items and left store. Found paint and brushes cheaper in another store.
No masks required, employees weren’t even wearing them and one of them wiped their snot with their hand while stocking shelves:)
This place is really nice has a lot of arts and crafts that you could be making it has jewelry painting t-shirts sewing machines framing your pictures your famous pictures or your family pictures they got all kinds of frames that do they do it all custom-made here really nice and a bunch of other different crafts that you could be making it's really nice place very clean the store is very clean the people are very friendly and also if you're an artist and you like to paint on canvases there's paint canvases brushes all that stuff it's really nice you guys got to check it out if you haven't checked it out yet Michael's well this is Johnny from adventures with the riveras
Employees are helpful but do not have the common courtesy to wear their masks when speaking with customers, nor keep a six foot distance when they don't wear their mask even over their mask. Their willingness to help was nice but it was very uncomfortable to have an employee keep advancing on me with her mask below her mouth.
Just had Steven the tech. He did an outstanding job analyzing my pool heater and fixed it on the spot. I would recommend this company to anyone
Why does Michaels jack their prices, of absolutely everything, up so high? In the past Michaels had those things you could get anywhere else. It’s obvious they’re still operating in the past. This location has some rude employees.
