I should start by stating that I never actually entered this facility. My son and I sat in the car while my wife went into the store. Five stars because she went in for acrylic paint which was buy-3-get-3 free! I'm super pleased to say that she came out fully outfitted to paint a miniature copy of Hieronymus Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights' on the underside of our guest bathroom toilet lid for less than $30. Thanks, Michael's, for getting her the product she needs at a price my wallet appreciates.
Terrible experience. My wife and I were checking out when an angry customer who was very aggressive came up to us and started berating us verbally using awful language. None of the employees intervened or attempted to deescalate the situation, or call the police. Last time I'll be shopping at this Michaels. Not even an apology or acknowledgement from the staff to me about the situation.
I’ve been waiting on my painting to be framed for over 6 weeks with no communication from the store other than the 2 times I’ve had to drive from the other side of town to come in to check on it. When I try to call the store in the last couple of weeks EVERY TIME, the phone system boots me out without anyone EVER answering. I don’t blame the framing shop for this. They are as polite and helpful as always. Apparently, they had their landlines removed and have been given scanners that don’t allow them to call out and communicate with their customers. Either Michaels Corporate or the store manager has made a horrendous call. I’m furious and currently refuse to EVER spend another penny at this store or at any Michaels store or online again ever. Since there was a question over the framing and they were not able to contact me to ask about it, I still need to wait another week or so for them to reorder and fix the matting on my order. WHAT LEGITIMATE BUSINESS REMOVES THEIR PHONE LINES? I’ve already paid up for the frame job on their “Summer Sale” because I’ve been happy with past framing projects I’ve gotten through them. In fact, I have another painting I was planning to bring in for framing when I picked this one up. That will no longer happen.
Besides the horrible customer communication I’ve been dealing with, I have serious concerns about a business that puts their employees in an impossible situation. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT APPLY FOR WORK AT MICHAELS. While I’m at it, I would not normally leave a review for this but since I’m here…Michaels has recently installed self-checkout stations leaving only 1 checkout cashier at the front of the store. The last 2 times I came in, I made additional purchases. The first time, the helper at the front directed me away from waiting in a short line for the cashier which was my preference. I found that annoying. The second time THERE WERE NO OTHER CUSTOMERS WAITING to check out and the CASHIER WHO HAD NO ONE IN HER LINE, REFUSED TO HELP ME and directed me to self checkout. Since I was using a voucher from my frame purchase, she still had to come over and help me all of which was highly annoying. If everyone at this store except for the frame shop has decided that customer service is no longer important, then I will no longer support them with my business Also, if I was an employee in the frame shop trying to do a good job for my customers and being hamstrung in my ability to do my job properly while being placed in the line of fire from unhappy customers then I, personally, would be looking for another job.
I always find what I'm looking for at Michael's, plus some! They had a great clearance sale on the bubble toys for kids, was able to get all of my grandchildren some toys and only spent $30
I love this place. There halloween selection is where its at! The staff is always wonderful and very helpful.

Went to the picture frame section and Jimena and April, were super helpful and amazing, Jimena even help me to contact the Plant City store so I can find the frames I need it for my pictures.
Lots of things are not there anymore feel like the store is half empty.

Clean facility and friendly staff. The entrance looks a little in finished. It appears as though they are remodeling to accommodate their buy online and pick up in store program. Overall a pleasant experience, definitely recommend
I went here because it came up in a search result for fabrics. There are no fabrics here. Also limited options for yarn. Otherwise they might be an okay general store for crafts.
Clean and good service. The selection and quantity of product appeared to be low in many areas. No visible floor help or customer service. Wide variety of craft items. Women focused, only men in the store were pushing the cart or holding a purse or items.
Cashier was super helpful, even assisted me with setting up rewards. Store was super organized.
This location is very busy all the time and difficult to get out of parking lot. The store is ok, stock is limited.
I shop elsewhere because of the hassle of getting in and out of the parking lot.
