Michelle Lopez-Torres, MD, Palmetto Bay FL

This review is NOT about Dr. Lopez-Torrez, but rather the medical assistant who was to take my 3 year old’s vitals for her 3 year check up. This woman was not friendly or patient in dealing with a 3 year old. My daughter had never had her BP taken before and this lady gave her instructions “to sit still in the blue chair, and let her put the BP cuff on and sit there patiently waiting” none of which my toddler did for her as she is NOT an adult and should not be treated like one. She has ZERO rapport for a patient my daughter’s age; when we tried to help by placing our daughter in our lap to get at least any BP reading, (in my opinion anything is better than none), she said that that is not the way the procedure is done and bluntly refused. She should work in an office setting with only adults if that, as she is rude, condescending, lacks empathy and is poorly trained to work with any living being, let alone small children who deserve empathy, kindness and respect as all patients do. My child will never be “assisted” by her again.

I like the doctors there all super nice, but we waited way too long for our daughter to be seen. And we were the 2nd ones there

I was never told i needed to call my insurance before the appointment, they did told me if wanted to be seen I needed to pay for the visit my self, front office is not helpful at all

Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Lopez for taking time to go over everything clearly. Highly recommended.

Dr Lopez is a great pediatrician, she cares about your baby, she is always willing to answer all your concerns, she is one of the few Drs in Miami who really listens to her patients. The staff is great, Yesenia is wonderful, very dedicated, super professional and nice with babies.

I love pediatric associates. My kids have been coming since they were infants, they are now 11 and 10 and will continue to come until they age out!

I am very pleased with the clinic, everyone is very attentive, they explain everything well, they remind you days before the appointment. I highly recommend this place to take your children

I really like the attention they have with the children and with the family. Their doctor is very good and very affectionate. I thank them for their good work team in general.

Dr. Michelle Lopez-Torres is an excellent doctor. She takes the time to listen and explain what you have to do. I really appreciate her service.
