Mike Norman Realty on Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach FL

They told us we had a place for 2023 that we liked and we gave them $1890 to reserve it. Two days later, they said they had given it to another person. It was very unprofessional and took a week to return the money. We had booked for a month. They asked if we wanted to look for another place with them and I absolutely did not. I eould never recommend them as rental agents.

This was our second visit to AMI and renting thru Mike Norman Realty. I know they have many rentals to choose from on the island so I will only comment on 2312 Gulf Dr N Unit 103. The place was spotless and as advertised. We had no issues at all and couldn't have been happier with our condo decision. Comfy beds, and all the amenities you'd expect and right on the beach. Cant wait to go back!

I called to see if they had received my email. They immediately went into defensive and aggressive mode. The rudest people I have ever spoken to in a service business.

I have been renting from Mike Norman Realty for years. They have the best selection of properties on the island. They are very quick to respond to any issues that you may have. This year we rented 114 Park Ave. It is a very spacious two bedroom pool home complete with a screened patio other than pool area. The house was immaculate and had the old Florida feel to it like AMI was when I was growing up. Pictures below include the beach path which is gorgeous in its self complete with turtle which was meandering along the path one morning. I call this path "Pathway To Paradise" because it truly is! And then you reach that beautiful turquoise water! It is heaven on earth!

Very professional great communication and a wonderful property. We will definitely contact Mike Norman Realty for our future travel plans to Anna Maria

If you are looking for a poorly represented house that is overpriced and run by a horribly rude real estate company, then this is the house for you. Perhaps the fact that there was only one review on Mike Norman’s website for this house should have alerted us to the fact that there was something shady about this house. Old tiny televisions, horribly uncomfortable mattresses, broken pool that we had the pleasure of adding water to everyday so we could use it. Dishwasher broke on day 2 (cmon, I’m sure it was broken when we got there) and would leave huge pools of water on the kitchen floor. We couldn’t run the AC in the master, b/c it was so loud and rattling. My husband ended up sleeping in one of the twin beds upstairs. No beach chairs or umbrellas (there was a great rental place for that around the corner). But the worst part about the whole experience was communicating with Mike Norman Real Estate. Each of the representatives that I spoke to were incredibly rude and defensive, never apologized for any of the sub par accommodations and when I went to go return the keys to their office, I was received by likely the same women I had spoken to on the phone. Even more rude this time, and a couple of her colleagues even joined in on her disdain for me. Classy. She would barely engage or talk to me. She said WHAT DO YOU WANT? DO YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK? I told her that I would not feel comfortable asking for the money back. Feel free to offer up anything.an apology, a better experience for the next time? ! I shouldn’t have to ask for anything. They had asked me to send them an email earlier in the week, stating all the things that were wrong or broken. That’s exactly what I did. She was kind enough to tell me that they ordered new TVs for the house. Not really sure how that benefits us on our way out, but okay. Yay for the next people coming in to stay. I did want to mention, that Daniel Figueredo, who handles maintenance on Mike Norman’s properties was great. He was very nice, apologetic, etc.the times he stopped by the house. By the way, we absolutely LOVE Anna Maria Island. No confusion there. We spent most of the month of January on the island and in 2 other rental houses that were both great (rented on AirBnb).

Wasn't very happy the way I was treated. I booked a place to stay and 2 days later they called me and told me that place wasn't available. What's up?

Have rented a few times with a Mike Norman realty and each time was great. One of the times, we had a last minute amily issue and they were very more than accommodating. Would recommend Mike Norman Realty for you vacation rental.

We rented a property from Mike Norman for the first time in December 2020 and were very happy with the experience. The property was sparkling clean and well above our expectations for the price. We plan to rent from them from now on whenever we vacation on AMI.

Very easy to book online. Everything was very easy once we arrived on the island. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We will be renting again they them.

My mother has terminal cancer and she has rented from this agency for likely 6 years. When we went down for her final trip, the place wasn’t in good shape at all. The water wasn’t on when we arrived at 9 pm. The door to the porch would close so tightly it was impossible to get in. The washer and dryer didn’t work. They had us take our clothes to the laundromat and paid us back. Huge pain in a golf cart. All of this aside.would’ve been forgiven because truly they’re first world problems. What was a tough pill to swallow was how rude the staff was to us. After my mom has been a loyal client for years and is literally dying, they were just short with us and rude. Broke my heart for my mom.
So, that’s my story. If u have an opportunity to rent from someone else, I would.

My family has rented numerous times from Mike Norman Realty and had nothing but great experiences. On several occasions our rentals were made on very short notice in order to accommodate last minute family visitors (we live locally) and the staff always found us something for a reasonable price. The Sandbox and Sandpail are our favorite properties thus far. Each side has two bedrooms with an inside connecting door and large heated pool, making it ideal for our out of state family members that want to be near each other. Kudos to Mike Norman Realty!

Rented a vacation property from them recently and had a flawless experience. My party of 10 was very comfortable in the Bartizal property right in front of the beach. Property was just like the pictures, very clean and exceeded our expectations. Very reasonably priced. We started looking a month in advanced, which is def late, and we couldn't find anything affordable on vrbo or airbnb that checked everything on our checklist. Glad we found MNR. Check in and check out process was the easiest. No contact with anyone. Id def rent with them again. One of my family members left an important item at the property and they took the time to go back to the property to look for it and mail it back. Great customer service. Overall great experience. AMI is beautiful, glad we were able to enjoy it in this property.

My family rents a beach house every year, and every year we have the greatest and most enjoyable time THANKS to Mike Norman Realty! We have rented all kinds of properties. Our most recent stay was at 3706 Gulf Drive. The house was immaculate and offered all that we were looking for- no stairs, easy access to the beach and an updated interior.we got to walk to Skinny's for a great burger & all you can eat pancakes at the county beach cafe. We loved this house & can't wait to return!

We stayed at caya casa just recently. It was a little more expensive but that was ok because it was right on the beach and in a great location. The house was dirty. The back bathtub took a while to drain and the toilet kept running so we had to mess with it just so it would flush. The front bathroom light kept flickering on and off. We had to pay a hefty cleaning fee but the house was not very clean and still had to sweep the sand out of the house before you left. You would think all the money they make off of these rentals you would put some back into the houses to make them look nice We go down to Anna Marie all the time but we will be returning through this company.

We love staying at Coquina Cabins and Caya Casa on AMI. Great experience with Mike Norman.easy check-in, beautiful and immaculate homes, friendly staff.

Mike Norman Realty is the best rental manager on Anna Maria Island, hands down. They offer a wide variety of choices for vacation rentals, and are friendly, responsive, and professional. I'm never disappointed when using Mike Norman to rent a vacation home, which we do annually.
