Wonderful doctor, so caring and thorough. We drive 45 minutes to see her and it is worth every mile!

Dr. Palau-Collazo is wonderful with my teenage daughter. She speaks to and asks my daughter questions, treating her like a pseudo adult. She’s always patient, kind, and doesn’t have one foot out of the door like some other practitioners.

Dr Palau is a wonderful Dr who genuinely cares for her patients. Drs like her are hard to find!

Dr Palau is the absolute best. She really takes time with her patients and makes sure you understand how to manage your diabetes. She really cares about everything going on with you.

This was our first visit to Dr. Palau with our son. Everybody in the office was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Palau was amazing. I especially liked how she addressed him during the visit and didn’t just talk to us. She made him feel like part of the conversation!

My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes about three months ago, and we had been using the endocrinologist assigned to her at the hospital. Several people recommended Dr. Palau to us, but we hesitated over the distance (an hour+ drive). I'm so glad we made the trip this week! Dr. Palau has the heart of a teacher-she has a white board in the exam room so she can "teach" her patients/families. She met us where we are-she did not try to over-simplify things, but really took the time to explain what we still didn't understand about this relatively new diagnosis. We are about to make the switch to an insulin pump, and I feel MUCH more confident about making this transition with her and the staff Diabetes Educator (Marta). I am confident we will receive the support and training we need to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Dr. Palau and her team were extremely thorough in gathering and reviewing medical history for my son as well as explaining her assessment and next steps. We walked away having a complete understanding of what to expect. I would highly recommend Dr. Palau.

Dr. Palau is very knowledgeable. We go to the other side of the earth to see her, if we have too.
