Miller's Ale House - Jacksonville Southside

My best friends call this “Their Millers” and I can see why. I went here once and they unfortunately closed early due to short staff. My Second time was amazing, It was pcked but they all kept composure and were amazing. Any milliers has good food so thats normal. And the Manager Jeff made sure I was good to go and he seemed really nice to the employees.

How come you can show your closing time as midnight but your employees tell people it is 10: 30pm at the entry and return them from entering to restaurant! Terrible business practice.

Horrible service waitress was rude, didn’t even stay to eat. Ended up just paying the bill and leaving. Manager walked by three times and didn’t even ask if everything was ok or ask why we weren’t eating and packing our food up to go.

Zinger salad, pretzel, and big red chicken sandwich was off the hook so good. Brought food back to Embassy suites and microwaved it up, was phenomenal. So glad we stopped in for grub.

The manger looked out place when went Arrived.
Table was dirty we told manger he apologized and cleaned the table.
Food was great. Service was not good. She was having fun with other employee.
This location has been great in the past but today it did not standard.

I like their drinks, atmosphere, and food. They are SUPER inattentive when you do a to go order. Don’t call in, they have nothing to say. They don’t answer the phone, and if you happen to get someone don’t expect to be able to continue to talk to them for 5 seconds.

4 stars only because of the location. If you live close, it is probably a 5 for value/options. The location of restaurant is not great to get to between traffic, roads etc.

Manager excellent but the service is horrible waitress out side takes forever to serve you and then comes back and about to waste hot alfredo on you which took 40 minutes to get. The first time it did not come on the food I ordered the seco d time it was burned so she never brought it out then the three time she brought it out it waste on the ground because I moved my leg and hand and it got on her fingers and the ground.

I really this restaurant and the food is outstanding always have great servers as well keep it going

Live environment, but I am not a fan of people smoking in a crowd of people. Even though it was in the outside seating area, it was too covered to be smoking there. I could not breathe well.

Ribs were good, mahi sandwich not so good. Service was slow. Not going back. Too much competition for them to be slacking.

Food was really yummy but Kayleigh’s service at the bar was awful. She acted as if she didn’t want to be there and as if anything the did for me was a chore. It made my experience here had to enjoy. The food was lovely but the service wasn’t the best.

Not reccomended. I order a fillet minion.tried to serve me not a fillet. Thank goodness i know my cut of meat. Could have been an error on server/cook but the rest of the 4 people didnt enjoy their meals as well. Our sever was pleasant but didnt know the menu or beer list. Made several mistakes. For a server not to know the beer list at an ALE house is unacceptable. Only redeeming thing was manager taking care of my bill. Otherwise will not be back or reccomend to others.

The servicebwas decent. The food, eh. Ordered the ribeye and it was the sadest ribeye I have ever seen. It was less than 1/4" thick, and 1/3 of it was this tangle of fat.

Great, clean sports bar. Food is served fresh and hot. Treasure Island ice cream cake is a must try.

Usually pretty good to catch a game at or just hang with some peeps. Also the bartenders are cool.

Went for lunch with friends during our lunch break and it was fantastic. Food and service were on point

Fabulous service from our great waiter. Quickly the food arrives. Good prices. Good food. Good atmosphere. All around a good bar and restaurant.

Wide selection of options on the menu and the food is pretty good. Not too pricey, staff is always friendly. I would recommend this as a comfortable place to have a meal with friends.

Server was nice but service was terrible. The food was overcooked and old and definitely not worth the price. Will NOT be going back.
