Fantastic staff, great 70's music, first rate job removing old filling and re-fill/ re-pair the filling. Very little discomfort.

I've been going to Millhopper Family Dentistry for over 20 years and they have always been amazing. This week I sheared off half a molar down below the gum line and they truly went above and beyond. I was able to get in the same day, thanks to, I think, Vanessa (I can't be certain, I'm sorry I'm so bad with names!). Dr. Ayala took time out of her already busy day to explain things and make sure that the exposed nerve and remaining tooth were protected. Tami has always been one of the most amazing people; she is so reassuring, straightforward, down to earth, professional, has years of experience, and takes the time to explain things (thank you Tami for everything). Tami and Alyssa got me in to see an oral surgeon the next day. I can't thank you guys enough. I'm honored to be your patient. You guys are a great team.

Starting w/ the Hygienist, since that is the very foundation of a good Dental Practice, All previous in particular, Lauren is absolutely superb! Then onto DMD asst Tami, extremely conscientious & fears not to consult DMD for furthering her understanding of any possible better approach to patient care & so on top of her knowledge. Now to DMD Valentina Ayala who represents her first names meaning “strong/healthy” as Archangel of Healing, Rafael, is surely working thru her w/o her even being aware of it. You will surely be in good hands w/ this Angel of a DMD. No false witness from me: Best Overall practice as a team I have encountered in over half a century! None of them march to the sound of a drummer but are indeed all together as a team are the “THE DRUMMER”. So if your checking out reviews for the best options don’t waste your time any further & go for it. I drive 4 hrs round trip from St Augustine just to see this crew. So if you have ears then hear what you ought to hear. If you have eyes then see what you ought to see

Dr McDonald is an excellent dentist, who always explains everything and is exceptional in individualizing treatment! All staff are pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Millhopper Family Dentristy.

Refused to call in an antibiotic for a patient with painful infection in a root canal / crown performed by their office. Even after seeing the patient a week prior to observe the distress. I had to resort to using my Dog's vet to acquire the same antibiotic. On the bright side, the Rx was 80% less money through the vet. If you need an antibiotic, go to your vet. They can get you what you need for a fraction of the price, and they won't treat you like a dog!

I have anxiety and a terrible fear of dentists due to a number of bad experiences in the past. This is the first dentist in my life that has EVER made me feel comfortable. Dr. Post and Brittany were extremely kind to me. I literally cried after my first visit because I couldn't believe how caring and understanding they were and how they didn't try to lecture me or make me feel bad about the current state of my dental issues, having avoided dental work for so long out of fear. Instead, they were very positive and made me feel its not too late to turn things around and get my teeth back to health. When I returned for my tooth extraction, Brittany had even come in on her day off just to make sure I was comfortable. I am incredibly grateful and just can't speak highly enough of them. I will be recommending them to anyone from now on.

My college student daughter went to this office to have her tooth extracted this week. She was anxious already about having the procedure as She had a root canal in the tooth that failed and now required the extraction. When she was there the dentist was not helpful or cognizant of her anxiety about having a tooth pulled at 21. (She worried about her appearance as a young woman, it's a back molar) The dentist told her this tooth wasn't savable we should have probably pulled it from the get go. Then proceeded to tell my daughter if she had better dental hygiene 15 yrs ago she probably wouldn't be in this predicament. If we are doing the math she would have been 6! This provider needs to work on her bedside manner and the way in which she speaks to and interacts with patients who have worries when coming to the dentist. I am however thankful to the front office staff and the dental assistants. They were very kind and helpful.

I rarely leave a 5 star review, but they were so wonderful. I went in to have my back molar removed, and everyone was super nice, and timely, and the place is clean. And a lot cheaper than I thought it would be! My last Dentist was awful, but I'll definitely be returning here.

I am the biggest chicken. The entire staff was amazing. Great place and great hours to work around your schedule.

Been going here for years, with several dentists and assistants and never had a bad or uncomfortable experience. They are well trained not only in dental treatments but also in creating a kind and friendly culture. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

Just had a cavity filled and the dentist and tech were fast, friendly, and efficient. Appointments seem to run on time with minimal wait and the check-in and check-out process was made super easy and quick.

My Wife made my 3 y/o Son's first dental appointment for Millhopper Family Dentistry months in advance. She was told we have your appointment booked and Medicaid insurance was A-OK and she should have to issues come appointment time.
We get there early on May 1st and are told that they DON'T ACCEPT MEDICAID and we'll have to pay out of pocket ($91). Mind you, my Wife had been calling every Pediatric Dentist in town to find somewhere they accepted Medicaid.
My wife inquires about why she wasn't informed prior that insurance wasn't covered.
The receptionist (s) were looking all confused with dumb faces on like we were speaking another language.
Don't get your dental work done here. Big waste of time. They try and do a bait and switch with insurance.
It's Bad Business.
I thanked them for wasting our time and left.

Had a chipped filling. I was able to get a next day appointment, and have it replaced the same day.
