Ming Yuan Restaurant reviews
22Love their food, but for the last two weeks they have been closed and updated information has been posted.
The food and service were ahead of our expectations. I really enjoyed the ambience of this place. Fantastic place to take the family out for dinner.
Great place for Chinese / Asian food to go. Super good prices. My new favorite “to-go” place in Miami. Call for the $3 and they’ll deliver it to you!
The spot is extraordinary and roomy, the meals was delicious and the rates were very inexpensive.quickly, productive service and very affable waiters. I highly recommend this place.
I ordered the Szechuan chicken which comes with ham fried rice on the dinner menu. The Szechuan chicken was wonderful but the ham fried rice was horrible. I've had Rice-A-Roni right out of the box which was more enjoyable, and I mean right out of the box - not cooked. I also ordered "Potstickers" for an appetizer and I asked that they not be too crispy. They came out way overdone and, to be honest, I have had frozen potstickers from the grocery store which were far better.
The place is small, it has only two tables, and it is dingy and dirty. Through no fault of the restaurant there was a gathering of panhandlers who would continue to stare through the window while we tried to eat our dinner. Situated just on the fringe of the Wynwood area in Miami, it's a very run-down neighborhood.
On a more positive note, the young lady who took our order was very polite and I can honestly say that customer service was top-notch. Also the portions were large and the prices are very reasonable.
I might order again from them, since everybody can have an "off day" but I would have it delivered I would not eat at the restaurant again.
I've been coming here for years, 14 years to be exact. Well do I need to say anything else lol enjoy my friends!
Location is a little outdated & ugly but the food is always great. Flavor hasn't changed for years.
The inside is pretty small, not great for groups but 2 of us found a table immediately on a Saturday around 1pm. Their menu is extensive, it was really difficult to decide what to get! We ended up with the beef tendon hot pot (spicy and so so good) and the black pepper seafood udon. Both were phenomenal and portions are great too. At the end you get these yummy glazed donuts!
More like a fast food restaurant. Food were a bit salty, but with such price, I have no complaint.
A lot of food. Not very tasty. Rice was not good, lack of taste all over. Lo mein was just ok. General tso chicken was ok. But fried rice was terrible. Should be an easy dish to not nail it. Definitely not ordering again.
They have the best ribs ever I just love them so much also they have great chinese food period! One of the best chinese places in miami
THESE PEOPLE JUST DELIVERED TO DOWNTOWN AREA TO ME LAST SATURDAY EXTREMELY GOOD FOOD BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY NO LONGER DELIVER TO THE DOWN TOWN AREA KNOWING THEYRE ONE OF THE ONLY ONES LOCATED NEAR US BUT ILL SPEND MY MONEY ELSE WHERE
Ordered delivery for the first time last night! The vegetable lo mein was satisfactory. I received a hefty portion enough to eat on for a couple of days, the food was hot, reasonably priced and the wait on delivery was quicker than expected. I will be ordering again. My daughter and I are happy with Ming Yuan.
Best Chinese delivery I’ve tried in the area. The food came on time, the order was correct, and everything was tasty.
Cons: The Krab Rangoon could have used more of the actually filling (although it was still good and I would order it again), and the breading on my General Tso Chicken was soggy and kept falling off the chicken (I will not order that again).
Pros: The Shrimp Fried Rice and the Sweet and Sour Chicken were good!
Food cooks fast, very fast but the reason behind it is because they screwing uo your order. Old meat, wrong flavoring, expired sauce and soggy rice. The older latina women in the front is very rude and disrespectful. She rushes you doesnt call you up when your food is ready. And has a very "i hope you die" look in her eyes. TAKE MY ADIVCE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Walked out.place was filthy. Not a Asian in sight. Scary part of town stay away unless you are a local who doesn't care about where to eat real Chinese food.
About 30 minutes ago I called this restaurant to place a pick up order for two small shrimp lo meins. I told the woman on the phone to please make sure there isn’t any meat in the food because last time someone made a mistake and added meat. I was told the food doesn’t come with meat in a rude manner (this I already knew that’s the reason I just made that simple comment to ensure my food was prepared accordingly due to a previous visit). Now as a buyer I have every right to ensure this so I don’t understand the attitude. I walk into the restaurant and was asked by a older Latin woman dirty blonde hair what I was there for and I told her my order. She sighed so hard like it was the end of the world, as if I had ruined her day. I let that go and didn’t say anything. The whole time the service was horrible she didn’t talk to me, smile back nothing. After paying for my food she returned my change and I said thank you she simply turned around and didn’t even blink. This is unacceptable and rude, mind you she was in a better mood with someone that picked up their order before me. I’m never going back there again. I refuse to give my money to a business that hire insensitive employees.
Great comfort food
good basic Chinese friendly neighborhood service
good prices loads of food
Mongolian beef is great
curry chicken is great
I wish I could give this spot a negative 5. Rice was soggy, they put old vegetables in it. I oddered orange chicken they gave me old meat and the sauce tasted expired. I should of known better then to order Chinese but i tought it would be alright. Even with the munchies I couldn’t eat it. Just don’t order here you won’t like it.
We ordered for the first time today and it was actually very good. The food arrived nice and hot, serving portion for a small was very generous, the price was economical and it tasted like real authentic chinese food. We will definitely be ordering from here again.
