Italian Restaurant Mino reviews
16First time dining at Minos today. Wow, loved the traditional Italian meal with homemade pasta. Everything was very good, the pasta, the salad and the Chianti. Brian was a wonderful server, personal and attentive in every way. We will be back!
My wife and I had an amazing experience at MINO, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves delicious Italian food! The pizza was out of this world - the crust was crispy and absolutely perfect. We also loved the pasta dishes, which were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The appetizers were some of the best we've ever had, and we especially enjoyed the mojitos and margaritas. But what really made our experience special was the service. Brian, our server, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our meal. He made our evening truly memorable. Overall, we give MINO a perfect 10 out of 10 - this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and excellent service!
We were taken care of by Zoe and had a great time. Good drinks, great pizza and Spaghetti. Great atmosphere as well. Will be back again!
The best place EVER. Right when we walked in the beautiful hostess with the such great smiles made us feel welcomed right away and then the service with the waiters is amazing they are so friendly and sweet. The food is 10/10 I love the pasta.
This is the second time we’ve visited and we will definitely be back again. The pasta is outstanding.
A pleasant surprise. Stopped in by chance and had a delicious pizza at the bar. Met some very nice people. Great experience.
My first time to this cozy restaurant. Our server was wonderful, he even showed us how their pastas are made. I had fettuccine with meat sauce, it was fantastic!
Other than the reservation process being a bit archaic, the service and food is incredible. Pizza as authentic Italian as it gets along with some of the best fresh pasta I've ever eaten. Being just off the 5th Ave strip, it's a bit quieter of an atmosphere.
The owner’s narcissistic attitude and his disrespectful response says it all. You might want to think to take a corse in customer service and learn interpersonal and communication skills so that your business survives.
This is my absolute favorite place to eat pizza and pasta. My husband and I have dined in a few times, but we mostly order for pick up. It truly is delicious there is no other pizza and pasta place that comes close to it.
Everything was excellent! Amazing appetizers and the pasta was fresh and delicious. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended good drinks. We live in Ohio and try to come whenever we are in Naples visiting family. I can’t wait to come back. I would love to meet the owner next time in person to tell him what a good job he has done with the restaurant.
My review was my honest opinion, sorry you can’t accept it or take responsibility at least for the hair in my cappuccino, why don’t you ask the pretty server with long hair? I did not have a problem with the table. We were there @ 6pm Wed Dec 7th, sat at first table right in front, party of 6 originally but changed to 5. Too bad you have to resort to calling me childish names. Unfortunately, your food sucked that night and your true colors have come out now so shame on you!
I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO READ THE RESPONSES FROM THE OWNER ON OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE CHOOSING TO DINE HERE. DISTASTEFUL.
I wouldn’t bother. There are plenty of other good restaurants in Naples and even better Italian restaurants in the area.
The service couldn’t have been slower. I’m normally very understanding about this matter, but my experience was unacceptable. Sadly the management was unapologetic.
The good news is that Naples has so many other places to offer! I encourage everyone to try elsewhere!
Worst experience ever! Should have left when they said they didn’t have bread service only plastic wrapped breadsticks. 5 pieces calamari in the fried calamari app.all filler of fried zucchini & peppers. Homemade pasta was very gummy & puttanesca sauce basically just oil. Pizza had a cracker crust like cardboard with hardly any sauce or cheese, no herbs, no flavor. We left most of the food uneaten. No dessert except for gelato & the final “coup de grace” was a long hair in my cappuccino! She didn’t even take it off the bill! What an epic DISGRACE this meal was. I grew up in a family of fabulous southern Italian cooks so maybe I’m spoiled but I can tell you this is not what they eat in Italy and if I served my family anything like these entrees we were given, I would be disowned! Plenty of better options around: Osteria Tulia, Camipello, Molto & Barbatella in Naples & Angelina’s, Enrico’s or La Fontenella in Bonita.
Food was good, not amazing. I thought when the menu was so small that each item would be spectacular. It was good. $25 spaghetti. I really wanted to love this place but ehh. Wait staff was excellent as was the location.
Again, the attitude of the staff and owners of this place is beyond belief. Too many of these incidents there-we are DONE. I ordered a Caesar salad with anchovies, tasted the salad, looked through it.obviously no anchovies. I told the server they forgot them. She took it away and when she came back said that I had eaten half the salad and ate the anchovies! What? I took ONE bite and I would obviously KNOW if there was an anchovy in it! What motivation could I possibly have to lie?
When employees feel they can act and treat patrons that way, it speaks to the attitude of the owners which trickles down. These owners are not good role models and are doing a disservice to their young, impressionable employees. This place has its own little set of rules (we won’t cut your pizza), and no regard for customer service. It is not a place you want to go.there are too many great restaurants in Naples with owners who treat customers with respect, dignity and appreciate your business.
The owners' response to my review is typical.look at all of his horrible, nasty responses to many other complaints. They have demonstrated who they are.there is no accountability for the one simple mistake made by the kitchen that could have so easily been corrected without the nasty comments made to me.
And the owner called me entitled? Moron? He has no idea who I am or anything about me. Calling women names? Donald Trump is probably his man-crush. Yes, I consider myself a conservative, but there is no place in society for this type of name-calling and behavior. Really sad that these people believe this is acceptable. Good-bye to the negative vibes at Mino's!
