I've been going to Missy for a couple years now and no one has ever made me so happy with my hair. She understands the curly girl experience like no other hairstylist I've been to. My first appointment with her, I felt like I was heard for the first time. I've always struggled finding someone who knew how to handle my very thick, curly hair and I've struggled myself on how to handle it. Missy took the time to explain how to manage/style, what ingredients to look out for in products without pushing expensive products, and kept it simple since I don't like spending too much time styling. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I never felt confident in my curls until coming to Missy! She takes her time in your first appointment to help you with products you should use on your hair type and explains everything to you each step of the way. Each cut after the first has been great too! You can customize it based on your budget and needs. After the cut, she always says to let her know if you are unhappy after you style it yourself and she’ll fix it (which has never happened because she’s always on it). Any curly girl looking to embrace their natural look and redefine their curl pattern, reach out to her!

I have been going to see Missy for about a year. She taught me how to have healthy and frizz free curls in the Florida humidity. My cuts and my colors are always amazing. I have also been bringing both of my curly haired daughters and she works wonders on their cuts as well. She educated my 16 yr old on how to take care of her hair and what various ingredients in hair care actually do and which ones are damaging. The best part is she doesn’t tell us we have to use any specific product. My 7 yr old loves going to see her too. Missy never disappoints and she makes the whole experience very fun.

4 years ago Missy changed my curly girl hair life! The first consultation/cut she took her time talking about MY hair, texture, needs. Products that would work etc etc.she took her time to explain and help me with the hair on my head that I had for 40 years and didn’t understand or treat right. GAME CHANGER the initial cost is worth way more than she charges. All cost after that are normal for the area. Wavy or curly hair go! You will not be disappointed!

I gained my "Curly Hair" after chemo. Not having previous knowledge of how to care for it left me constantly frustrated. Missy's patience and help as ashe taught me was amazing. Her compassion to make us all feel beautiful in our own skin is a true gift.
