MISSION BBQ reviews
19Wonderful service, excellent staff and BBQ. These folks go over and above for those who have served, and those of us currently serving. Always feel welcomed in uniform and out. FT Lauderdale and Central FL locations are personal favorites.
Awesome food, lots of cool Veteran photos and the Honor Flight group sang National Anthem noon. Never forget!
We had the kid’s turkey slider & fries. It was really good! Everybody was very nice to us. 2 paws up! - Molly & Mickey ️
We were at Mission BBQ for the Vietnam Veterans Day celebration. We had a great time. The Marine Corps League Color Guard was there along with the American Legion Riders. To top it off, there were several World War II veterans there. The food was great and the people there are first class. I can't thank Mission BBQ enough.
The perfect place for veterans and 1st responders! Great camaraderie with staff and better interaction with Stagg and patrons! Always the best and they treat the Veterans especially well.
1st time here and I will definitely be coming back again. I and my partner enjoyed our lunches very much. The staff working at the time I was there were top notch. The pulled pork was delicious the ribs were (imo) ok, fries were nicely seasoned and fresh. The restaurant was very clean and inviting.
Mission barbecue is very veteran friendly, but put all front-line workers to the forefront.
Hands down the best bbq in town! You have to wait awhile to get through the line then to find a table, but so worth the wait. The brisket sandwich was enormous and the baked beans were out of this world! FABULOUS FABULOUS FABULOUS is all I can say.can't wait to go back.
This place had great BBQ, and the customer service was exceptional. It was great to see all of the military/first responders memorabilia on the walls. I could have spent all day looking at all the pictures and patches. It's a must for any veteran, or anyone that appreciates military history.
Talk about having it all! A great selection of all the classics BBQ meats with a month watering selection of sides. I ordered an amazingly smoked BBQ brisket, probably the best I have ever had. 6 different sauces on the table topped it off. I added a baby back rib, which was very good, but brisket over rib in this instance.
If you are, have a family member or friend that's a Veteran, you must go/take them to Mission BBQ. Veteran owned, most employees are veterans, and they are all super nice. At noon, everything stops, and all rise for the National Anthem. Veterans also get free desert.
An all around wonderful experience. As Arnold would say, I'll be back.
I had a 5 bone ribs, coleslaw, and cornbread. Ribs were better than expected. Coleslaw was a perfect compliment. Cornbread was okay. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich. Looked to be 5 or more ounces on a roll. She liked it. She got a mac and cheese. Said it was like a home made version. Add soda and a tap beer, tax, $39. Nothing fancy, order food, they call you when ready. Tables adorned with a roll of paper towels, and a half dozen sauces. Staff were upbeat. Very plain looking joint, but pretty good food 4/2023
Awesome place love the concept. Food is great as well as super friendly staff! Love all the different bbq sauces as well! Been here twice in a month and don't even live in Florida!
Had the 2 meat sampler with two sides. Had brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage. Both were incredible. Both were very flavorful. Sides were slaw and fries. Slaw seems homemade not pre packaged. Fries are fresh cut. Sampler comes with a piece of corn bread. Staff is awesome. They welcome you when you walk in the door. They cater to veterans and first responders. This is a great place!
We went to this location my daughter has food allergies I checked their online menu and it said it was safe however when I got to the register we asked the manager tonight, Michael was super rude rolling his eyes and speaking in a rude tone I told him I checked the online allergy menu and the store allergy menu which both said the green beans were safe for my daughter he said that they were not so I asked about the allergy menu I had seen then he said " oh if the menu says it up will be fine". After ordering he comes to tell us " see I told you showing me the fake butter they use I began to express my concern about the allergy menu being wrong he dismissed me with a major attitude problem we ended up leaving. As a manager he needs better training in customer service or he needs to resign. The allergy menu should be accurate it is a matter of life or death for many people
I love Mission! I almost exclusively get the salmon, and it's perfect every time. The service is fast and friendly and veterans get a little discount and a thank you. I've never had a bad experience and will recommend anyone and everyone give them a try
Oh my gosh this was the first time and it will definitely not be the last. It was so delicious.
My fiancé and I met with Joshua Beyer to go over catering options for our wedding and he was above and beyond professional and so kind and caring and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. The food was amazing and Joshua made us feel so reassured that by choosing them for our wedding will be nothing but the best outcome we could possibly hope for. We’re a month away from our special day and I can’t say enough good things about this location specifically and about him.
Brisket melts I’m your mouth. Ribs fall off the bone. Great service. Friendly staff. Great place!
Amazing food and dining experience. At noon they played the national anthem then honored a WWII veteran eating there. We will be back.
Great place with amazing brisket and sauces. I love that we stop everything at noon for the National Anthem. Always friendly service people too
