Car Dealer MobilityWorks reviews
8 THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DISABLED AND ELDERLY!
My 76 year old grandmother had the misfortune of buying from these swindlers. At the time she was the primary care giver for my paraplegic aunt as well as my grandfather who had advanced Alzheimer’s. She had excellent credit, put over $30,000 down, and had zero personal experience buying a car. These crooks financed the remaining $32,756 over TWELVE YEARS! (Car dealerships make money off of financing; it’s best to have that lined up beforehand.) Additionally, they promised to install an easy lock. Lo and behold, it couldn’t be done, so now she struggles with manual tie downs. I just found out about all of this and am now working to ensure she doesn’t end up paying the $17,631 in interest that Mobility Works conned her into. STAY AWAY!
Attached is proof of $30,775 down payment and ridiculous 144 month financing.
Wish I could give them a -5 star rating. Maybe they just need to provide better training for their repair technician or maybe they are purposely taking advantage of people. Either way, be careful if you bring your vehicle here.
BEWARE:
We brought our Mercedes Benz Sprinter to this shop to repair the wheelchair lift which wasn't coming out. The tech looked at it for about 30 minutes and came out to explain to my husband that the UVL lift was not repairable and needed to be replaced. He was given a quote for $14,000 to replace it and it would take 6 weeks to get the new lift and repair it. The charge for looking at the van was $126 which would be deducted from the $14k. We decided to take it to another shop nearby and they looked at it and REPAIRED it for $115 in just under an hour! We feel completely cheated by this company but happy that they weren't able to scam us out of $14,000! In my opinion, this company tries to take advantage of disabled people. Be careful.
Just had the 6 month preventive maintenance on Braun RampVan purchased elsewhere. Service was very friendly by everyone at Mobility Works.
Sayra is one of the most awesome people I've dealt with in a very long time! So happy I decided to get things done at this location!
Sayra was so helpful and very patient with me. The whole staff was a pleasure to work with. VA approved a very nice scooter for me through Mobility Works. I highly recommend them.
Matthew is an excellent diagnostician! Local shops could not fix my sliding door and needed to order expensive parts.yada yada yada. Drove down to Clermont. My vehicle was fixed permanently after 1.5 hours! I will continue to return to this location because of his expertise!
In The Villages Florida. Good guy to fix your Mobility Scooter, fixed a flat for me. Also has some unreal scooters in stock.
