Mobley Park Apartments, Tampa FL

Have been in contact with this place since APRIL 2022! They finally reached out 2 months ago and asked for requirements, I submitted them, then they insisted I needed more paperwork AND more money to process my application. This place is unprofessional! The person (Shay) handling my application lacks professionalism and if this is how they treat perspective tenants, I can only imagine how disregarded the people that live there must feel. I no longer want to be a part of this community. Seems sketchy.

WORST EXPERIENCE TRYING TO RENT. I applied in March… was promised a unit july then waited the entire time for nothing. First I made TOO much, then didn’t make enough, and yet was NEVER returned my deposit it’s now over 6 months later I WAS HOMELESS WAITING FOR THE EMPTY PROMISE BRITTANI AND AZIA MADE. WRH IS UNPROFESSIONALLY OWNED AND THIS IS A SCAM. I have my attorney looking into this currently.

I started a lease there back in December of 2019 my apartment wasn't available until the end of December the staff and property manager Jeanette was very nice the assistant manager and the leasing agent I believe thats who she was, was very understanding being that they both had a family member that has autism. Both of my boys has autism and ADHD I spoke with them passionately about my children because they are active and can be loud and wanted to make them aware ahead of time Jeanette said their kids it's their house too. So I moved forward to moving in everything was going pretty good I loved the space. Fast forward my downstairs neighbor was filing numerous of complaints about the noise my kids were making I don't think the layout was well planned putting a 3 bedroom townhouse over a 2 bedroom apartment but anywho Jeanette told me but it wasn't an issue but she kept complaining I even introduced myself to her and explained the situation with my kids I thought we had an understanding but she kept complaining. I renewed my lease and like a month later they told me I had to move and pay a security deposit but last time I check you don't pay a security deposit to move out! Jeanette is very two faced and unprofessional I had to get legal services and once they were notified the whole office staff would not speak to me anymore. Jeanette does not work there anymore though she works for another apartment complex I was looking into but once I seen her name I said the devil is a lie nope won't be moving there. I don't know how it's running now I seen they repainted the complex, a little advice make the walls and flooring better for loud noises so neighbors won't be disturbed.

Had to move quickly and I was welcomed with superior professionalism. A clean, renovated spacious home. Brittani radiates confidence and knowledge as she helped me through the application process. She was quick to to answer and address my problems. My dad who is deaf said she was “patient and helpful. ” A lot of this reviews listed mentioned problems left behind the previous management company. I think with some time, Mobley will definitely be a hidden gem!

Don’t move here! Brittani is the property manager she is very unprofessional and a big liar! I stopped by and she was sooo rude the entire time, yelling. I repeat do NOT move here this place is horrific they are stealing money in the office. They will not i repeat they will not fix anything u will be awaiting to have anything fixed for at least 3months. It’s sad, when you go in the office to try an speak with the managers they have there doors shut in they lie about not being inside. They take the rent money in tell you they NEVER received. Save your money in time don’t bother moving here. The inside of the apartments look absolutely NOTHING like the pictures they have posted i promise you! Disgusting environment. Rats infestation. The police are almost alwaysssss inside of the complex. Just horrible! Shut this place DOWN please! SLUM LORDS.

Terrible! They just raised my rent 2 times within 4 months! Then I just got the letter on my door saying my rent currently is 919 which I’ve been paying 997 because that’s what my rent “ supposedly went up to in April, now the paper says my rent going from 919 to 1030! I’m just not understanding! Then this the 2nd time this year I have to recertification because they said the other management messed up so much! I got a 7day notice to cure because they messed up. If it was my fault I would understand but it’s not! Then they want more money but the maintenance people came to fix my bathroom and the other bathroom sink and it’s still the way it was before I put the request in! It says done but it’s not! Just tired of having to put the same request in that I been putting in for years! Carpet is terrible but they won’t change it! I’ve been there since 2011! I’m figuring that they just want me out because they building the tbx interstate and they want my building! I should’ve listened when someone told me years ago about this! I’m currently trying to find somewhere to go! It’s a area near my building that has nothing but trash in the center and they haven’t attempted to clean it, but want to raise rent smh! They should be ashamed! I took plenty pictures and I’m trying to see who I can report to! I would not recommend living here

Worst up kept apartments ever.

The people around this place are good. People. Come every week to get them hot dogs and prayer the highlight of my week five star organization

DISGUSTING. Nothing gets fixed timely. Outside hallway gets nearly pitch black and the light bulbs are not replaced. This is a safety issue especially since there are people living in tents just outside the unsecured fences all around the property. Fridge leaks, still has not been fixed. Constant plumbing issues. Overflowing toilet in one bathroom, the other bathroom toilet doesn't fill with water. Water pressure is terrible. Lights flicker. Nothing is right here! This place is unreasonably negligent. Management should be ashamed. Other neighbors have similar issues with repairs. I'm seeing what can be done as far as filing a complaint with the city.

Will scam you make sure you everything in writing and double checked they are evil people in the office there

My daughter is only getting the run around from the employees at this establishment, not to mention they are highly unprofessional. I’m hoping the owner will respond so I can speak with them. It’s taking way too long for them to give her an answer whether she’s gotten the apartment, and they haven’t given her a definitive price yet. She received an email that her portion of the rent is due (which gave her the answer as to how much per month) without having signed a lease yet and zero answers as to when she can move in. This email was sent 2/21/21 and it’s due same day. She checks in regularly with the office and gets no information. She started this process in January. It’s beyond ridiculous. She could have found another place by now. Please help. I’d be happy to revise my review once this is settled. Thank you in advance!

Leasing consultant very rude. She needs a different job. “How would I know what I have available in March? ” Okay if tenants give you notice two months before the lease is up then just say that. Don’t treat potential tenants like they have no common sense knowledge. Thank you and be blessed.

The reviews on here are pretty accurate when it comes to the office staff no need to name them being I'm sure you're already aware of which ones. No need for the automated reply either as I'm sure it will be same as the rest I've read. DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS. YOU'LL REGRET LIVING IN MOBLEY PARK

Older woman in the office got extremely rude to my sister within the first 30 seconds of inquiring about apartment availability. Then we saw all the other reviews about her and realized this is a common problem at this place

Just called for availability and the old woman mentioned in the other negative reviews was extremely rude. We simply asking if any 1 bedrooms were available as there website mentioned 2 availabilities "now".

If i could give 0 stars I would. Just talked to an elderly woman who didn't listen to me when I asked questions. Asked to speak to someone else who could give me direct answers said people were helping but were to busy. Refused to allow me o get in contact with someone else. Asked why I was asking so many questions like if there was a required income or credit score. Basic things. Refused to give me her name as well and said she had no name. I was looking for an apartment for my friend I myself have been working in property management for 3.5 years now this is the most horrible experience I have ever had. Terrible customer service absolutely rude an unhelpful.

This place won’t answer the phone even if their life depended on it
