Monticciolo Family & Sedation Denistry is a Blessing to Special Needs Children and Adults. My son is Autistic non verbal he had an appointment 1-29-24 cleaning and exam. He did not need the Sedation he was able to go through procedure with my by his side. He is 20 years old. Probably 9 or 10 years really. The Staff is excellent and so caring and compassionate. Thank you.

Best dentist in Plant City! As a super dental procrastinator I was 5 years overdue for a cleaning, Dr Duvert was amazing! She numbed my whole gum line (because I am a super wimp) and I barely felt the needle! Highly highly recommend!

I felt like a VIP just walking into the office. No wait time and very friendly welcome. The staff was super attentive and courteous. The dentist was kind, prepared, and knowledgeable. I've been to several dental offices thoughout the decades and by far this provides the most satisfying dental exerience.

After watching the commercial for Monticciolo Family & Sedation Dentistry a couple of times, I decided to call. The word sedation caught my attention, because of my last dentist experience.
I spoke with the operator who directed me to the Plant City Clinic, in which I was skeptical, but she assured me that I would be satisfied with the dentist there and her staff. I was elated to find out the dentist was female. She was thorough about all the procedures I needed and gave a thorough explanation about all of them.
She gave me more than one option so that I could choose which one was best for me. She did not force me or even suggest which one I should take, but instead she said, "You must decide. " She made sure I knew all of the pros and cons for each option, which caused me to feel comfortable about the option I chose. I am one who gets anxious when in the dentist's chair, but my appointment today gave me the best dentist visit experience I have ever had!
She performed 3 fillings for me today, and I could not believe that without her using anesthesia, I FELT NO PAIN!
If you are looking for a dentist and a dentist 's staff that is awesome, Monticciolo Family & Sedation Dentistry, Plant City, Florida is the one for you. Take it from me, someone who has been mortified to go to the dentist for years because of the way my last dentist traumatized me. YOU WILL BE SATISFIED!

Everyone was so nice! It’s been a while since my last visit and I was really nervous at first. But I would recommend this office to anyone. My dental assistant Maria was so sweet and professional. She made the experience a hundred times better.

Anxiety is the first feeling I get when I visit a dentist, so Katherine V.who assisted Dr. Duvert made me comfortable to the extent of placing a blanket over me while I shook in fear. She is wam hearted and reassured me that I am in good hands. The office is clean and welcoming from the front desk staff to all the other assistants. The knowledge giving by the doctor and her assistant Katherine was helpful in understanding the procedure. I highly recommend this denal office for your dental care.

Came in and had the best experience, I usually dread going to the dentist but my dental assistant Maria took such good care of me I felt right at home, she gets 2 thumbs up.
For anybody looking for any dental work I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

PAINFUL AS I WAS NOT offered sedation. Hygienist not even aware of the advertising as such. Hmmm. Ok, I had a pre-payed plan after reviewing my X-rays, etc.paid up front for the plan. Now there’s all these extras. I had no real explanation of anything on the up front, as though I had known what the plan was! After getting into it, it’s. $1,000 here, $1,000 there. Not really a very up front plan, is it? Maybe I’ll jump ship once “the paid up front” plan” is fulfilled and will dep find another dentist who can honestly do what is needed. Temporary bridge 2 times. Crooked teeth on the bridge? Why? Not a very good explanation of what to be expected! Like I know the process? Never in my life have I been so humiliated! And, where was the “sedated dentistry” NOT. Oh, gee, Dr was out, or, oh, Gee, just take this painful step of a few needles and eventually everything will be ok. NOT!
What a scam! Still looking for sedation. I’m tough, but thought that I could get sedated in leu of pain. NOT.

I have always appreciated Monticciolo Dentist office in Plant City. They have alway provided superior service, care and customer service. They always make me feel comfortable and understood. Thank you so much for going the extra mile!

I was skeptical with some of the reviews but went with my heart and was very pleased at how my son, who has autism, was treated by the front desk gals, the x-ray technician, and most of all by the dentist. He explained everything to me, and my son directly - actually talked to him - like a real person not a dummy, and showed him kindness. I've been around a while and work in the legal field, and I have had to "fight the fight" for my son everywhere I go and all of his life. He was very professional, and courteous, and made me feel confident he will take care of my son while under anesthesia. I pray I am right. To me, nothing else matters when you have a child with special needs and I have "shopped til I dropped" looking for someone to handle everything all at one time. This kind of treatment is what brings a mother back with their child. I will update this review after his surgery/procedure. I'm nervous because my son has sensory issues, doesn't numb, etc.so we will see. Root canals, fillings, deep clean, etc. I do believe this dentist will exceed expectations as he shows himself to be a "Pro".

They did a treatment plan so I would know exactly what I owed each visit. I paid in full each visit the amount they told me I owed. Having paid each visit in full I was gone for a couple months only to come back to a statement saying I owed $638, charges that were not on the treatment plan. I have repeatedly called to try and speak to someone was told someone from regional would call me. Still sitting here with no call and just received a new statement saying 90 days past due.

This was my first time at this location and all of the staff were very friendly. The office was running a bit behind so it took about 40 minutes after my appointment time until I was taken back to a room. I understand these things happen sometimes though. All of the techs, and the dentist himself, took time to make sure I was comfortable and explained the procedure to me. Overall, one of the best dental offices I’ve ever been to.
