Moreno Bakery reviews
39**WARNING** Moreno Bakery has allowed a VERY RUDE HOMELESS MAN, to sit outside and come inside their business every single day. He curses at customers, when I complained, I was told they feed him and give him coffee and usually just sits by the door all day. He spits at customers as they leave if they don't give him food and curses and talks to himself. The management/ownership not only knows this man is sitting right outside their door everyday, they haven't trespassed him inspite of their knowledge he curses and harasses customers on their way in and out.they encourage him to stay by feeding him and NOT having this NUISANCE REMOVED. Stop by.you don't even need to walk inside.he'll be right by their door to greet you.
A better review will come later. To anyone who reads this, the facts are simple. They have fresh hot foods, fresh baked goods, and the most polite staff around!
Baked items are very good.nice selection.counter is always so busy, i never have the chance to try the hot foods
Got recomended this place so i decided to go today.the quesito turnover had me looking for the cheese, the crean horn was just a pile of frosting that is not made by them, the pan de bono had no taste and the cuban loaf was ok but not the greastest overall thank God i did not buy anything else
A tad bit overpriced. The cuban bread was okay, not my favorite, for sure. I prefer paper bags for bread, and all they have is plastic bags which ruin cuban bread, IMHo. And they are much smaller loaves than I am used to. The food and bakery stuff is good, but it is not a good value due to the prices.
Such a great bakery. Beautiful selection. The employees are always helpful and efficient. Great coffee. Good food. Reasonably priced. They’re doing it right. Always recommend.
These ppl are ridiculous the prices are insane and when they get your order wrong and bring it to their attention they question you like you are on sandwich trial because is attitude what they talk to you with all because they can't get the job they get paid to do right. Did I forget to mention they are also reporters because they want to walk around they bakery telling everyone what your issue was. After almost 10 yrs going in here and there they just lost my whole families business. And if the owner decides to read this go ahead and contact me.
Moreno Bakery is a great place to both work and eat. The food on both the sweet and the savory side is amazing. The place does get super busy on a regular basis and you can count on any made-to-order food to take anywhere from at least 5 up to 20 minutes depending on the line or how many people ordered something ahead of you. Most (not all but a lot) of the bad reviews are people who are just looking to be grumpy nitpickers. Moreno's is it's own, one-of-a-kind place and I highly encourage anyone who's hungry, for sweets or otherwise, to give the place a chance. If something goes wrong with your order the staff will truly do it's best to try to fix what happened, within reason. Best place I've ever worked so please come by and check us out!
Ordered a cheese with fresh whole strawberries, I was charged 30 dollars, which Was way to expensive. When I arrived to pick it up I received a cheese cake that looked like it was made by an amateur and the strawberries were sliced in a bunch of piece. I had already paid for it over the phone and they wouldn’t refund me the money, It was disappointing.
I would rather buy my next cheese cake at Publix.
Will not recommend.
This Bakery is Amazing and the staff is great. The smell when you enter makes you feel in Paradise! Can't wait to take my hubby for brunch!
I love this place. Everytime I go to Brandon I have to stop here. I have had many different things on their menu. The food is always good and so are the desserts. I luv it.
AMAZING! I am a LONG time patron of La Segunda Bakery in Ybor and man have I been missing out on this place! It has lots of food, dessert and sandwich options. They hgvave have lots of space and plenty of seating. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Between the Spanish food and all the wonderful bakery treats.it's like a Heaven on Earth. My kids love coming here to pick out a special treat.
Disipointed they disconnect the phone 3 times and 2 holds before I was able to speak to the cake decorator who seemed irritated to be on the phone and really didn’t help me.
Great Bakery I'm not sure how to say this but I don't like going here because the pastries are so good I feel guilty when I eat them
Great place great customer service everytime i go in here they get my order double check to make sure everything is there actually pull stuff out of the bag telling me what it is just so i can verify it is all there i love this place
Food is decent But way over priced I bought picadillo rice and beans and paid 1354 Any other Spanish joint it would have been no more than 7 bucks with the same amount of food and some places more for less and taste better
You just have to go see for yourself. Words can't describe. Closest I can come is, everything there taste like squozed angels.
Moreno does it all and they do it right! Personaly love the bread and cookies. Guava and cheese everything!
