Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater FL

The wait was absolutely ridiculous. They should have told me to begin with and I would have went to another hospital. I sat in pain for 5 hours in the waiting room chairs because of my back injuries from a few weeks ago with my fever getting worse and me being dehydrated. I came in at 9: 30pm because I wasn’t able to keep any water down and I had puked it all up to SIT in a waiting room being told I can’t have any water until I can get back their and get IV fluids. I told 3 nurses I was probably going to pass out if I didn’t get water/ fluids soon and I was told I had to wait. Like this is the reason I went in I was DEHYDRATED and felt weak. I got back in a room and sat there for another hour just to be told I CAN HAVE WATER that I don’t even need an IV. Don’t get me wrong the nurse and doctor that took care of me were really nice, they straight up told me they are understaffed. They need to do something about that or INFORM patients when they get there the possible wait time so they can make the decision that’s best for themselves. 5 patients asked when their room will be ready/how much longer is the wait (who were there before me so they waited over 5hrs) and they straight up told them that they do not know. That’s not right. People who we’re brought in by EMS were literally put in wheel chairs and sat in the waiting room. I have never seen that before. I finally left there at 4: 00am told to take over the counter ibuprofen.
I will never go back there. Everyone in that lobby was pissed.

"Excellent service" there is nothing to improve as far as I am concerned! Couldn't ask for better staff!

I was here today and appreciated the flow of things. The PA JP was extremely kind and helpful. He took great care in his methods. Heather is a great and friendly nurse to have.

The entire maternity team was amazing! They made my repeat cesarean as painless as possible my everyone was so comforting and supportive. Could not speak higher of everyone and my experience. Thank you so much!

Been here twice this month. Once was a fall (why I'm here now) this hospital will be and has been my choice in care since 2020. Everyones so nice. Its clean. Comfortable. If you have a question a nurse cant answer they will get on right away to finding your answer.

Dialysis unit has great staff who I've noticed are like a family all unto themselves.

The food is tasty.which we all know is hard to find in a hospital and I love hearing the chime that plays when someones had their baby!

Hospital staff were pleasant and professional. Medical staff was excellent at keeping family healthcare proxy current on tests and assessments.

Very thankful for all care and help to feel safe while trying to find out what was wrong with me. I was told the Doctors and nurses plus all the staff help. I will never forget how the day I spent in the emergency room being cared for. I was given proper Doctors to follow up the results to treat my Health to get well. Morton Plant is certainly a wonderful Hospital.

Room arrival, no kleemex, no towels or cups fro partials when asking for aa walk people seem to say later and dissspare.last nurse Rohan I think. He was absolute mavelous save the day

My mother was hospitalized for approximately nine days, and I cannot say enough about the quality of care she received, or about the services *I* received during her stay to get help with finding her an assisted living placement. The social work professionals were amazing, her nurses were top-tier.it was just a great experience, and she's now in a new living situation where she needs to be, and beginning to thrive. Thank you so much!

Had excellent care while i was there from the nursing staff to the doctors and all of there support people

I had an amazing experience in Morton hospital. Whole pragnancy I was in Turley Family health center and delivered baby in Morton plant hospital. Experience was great and I would love to deliver all my children in this hospital. Conditions are high-end, medical workers are spectacular and if I can give a grade it would be 200% excellent. Carol Hay, Rachel Stall, Susan Salazar, Dr Chenayev, Kathy, and all nurses in Morton hospital that we had chance to work with (I don't remember all the names) Molly, Stephanie, Amanda and all others that worked with us were amazing and they deserve a raise and praise. I also want to mention Lucy from Turley center front desk, she is an amazing worker and human overall.

The receptionist was warm, professional and friendly. The intake receptionist was nice. The doctor was helpful, knowledgeable, listened and cute. The ultrasound tech felt warm to me as well and went the extra mile to look closer at concerned areas of interest. The nurse was nice and warm as well. Thank you for your professionalism, warmth and creating a caring atmosphere.

I had an excellent experience at the hospital. The staff were kind and took really good care of me. I'm from out of state so I had no idea about the hospital or my surgeon but both were exceptional. I am truly thankful.

Excellent service from front desk to the Doctors and nurses. And extra points for the free valet!

I can't think of anything that could improve on my visit to your emergency room. The people there were at the top of their game.
