I was very pleased with the entire staff from the Physicians to the folks who clean the floors and make beds. I especially want to point out an outstanding nurse who took care of me one night named Melissa. She goes above and beyond in making a patient as comfortable as possible under tense conditions.

Best hospital in the area! Everyone from the moment I walked in the door until I left were welcoming, sympathetic, and professional. We are very fortunate to have such an amazing hospital in New Port Richey. Thank you for taking great care of our community!

First to say this hospitals level of care was a wonderful experience even though I in side was freaking out. The staff of doctors and nurses that helped me though a tough medical issue was great. Everyone that was involved in my case was very professional and caring. So many names to list but you all know who you are. Thank you thank you.

It doesn't take 2 1/2 hours to put in 3 stitches in a finger. The wait to get it done, when no one else in the ER had actual emergencies (I'd cut a vein and had lost quite a bit of blood) was ridiculous.

I was told that there were sicker people than me that needed to be tended to by the staff every time someone came in to tend to me.
Heart monitor leads were left on me when they released me. Overall I was not a priority. I came in with severe stomach pain and had it while I was there and went home with it.

Dr. Cooper has managed my bilateral knee pain for several years, replaced my left knee in January, and now the right in his new position with Baycare. He is an exceptional surgeon, in my opinion, which is why I followed him to Trinity Orthopedics. Beyond that, he is also a brilliant physician when it comes to pre- and post-operative care. His staff is highly professional and it is evident that they care for their patients first, and foremost. Kaitlyn remained in contact with me through each step of preparing for my recent surgery. I could not be more pleased with my care by the hospital staff as well. Diane, Lynn, Mary Lou, Olav, Jona and Emily, to name a few, all had my best interests in mind, ensured my comfort, and addressed each concern. Interaction with the OR staff was interesting, informative, and precise, yet their names are a bit hazy. Thank you to you all for an amazingly fluid experience and your kindness while doing what you do.

Everyone was so kind and caring and they took excellent care of me. I left the hospital feeling so much better. Whatever medicine they gave me I still feel good today. Thank you to the staff that worked Sunday 28th, 11am

The Pediatric psych ward is horrible very disrespectful staff no kind of empathy towards parents or information that they want to know about their child staff argue with me and hung up the phone in my face when I was only told to call between certain times to talk to my child

This hospital sucks. Ppl throwing up and detoxing all around other people. Wait Time has Ben long and strenous. However the front desk staff Traci was nice, she was attentive and really carasmatic and sympathetic to my plight. The nurse was too but the over all experience in this dreary vestibule has Ben horrible. I will never come here AGAIN, Ashley in clinical is Nasty no compassion dry and without sympathy. She should NOT be in a medical center if "Caring"for others isn't on her modus aperande. This has Ben the worst hospital experience ever. There's a woman nodding off in her chair practically on the floor and no one to get aide. Just horrible. The hospital isn't packed and I've Ben sat in this place called a waiting room for 4 hours. ASHLEY is awful and without carasma she's clearly not fit for Triage placement.

I've had experiences at 4 of the Tampa area Hospitals (unfortunately I suppose). Recently I had reason to meet the Pre Admission Testing manager at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in Pasco County (New Port Richey) Florida. I think the meeting lasted a little more than an hour with my rep,
ms. Liz Criscuoli. The most re-assuring and informative information exchange I've ever had, The facility was immaculate, and the 'tour' led me through every area I would be visiting during my upcoming 3 day stay. I was amazed that every employee acted as I was not 'Bothering them', rather they gave me the impression that I was the reason they were there. I certainly would recommend Morton Plant North Hospital to any Family member or Friend. Thanks, Jon Lemasters

Absolutely terrible experience. I went in for an eye /muscular issue- urgent care thought I'd had a stroke. After tests, they told me I had Covid (I've since been tested elsewhere and it came back negative, which is strange considering you're supposed to come up positive for a while?) And did not address eye again other than to say there was a "muscular issue-". They roomed me with a Covid positive girl, and I truly hope she's feeling better as she sounded SO sick. I did not have more than a slight temp, and felt lucky to not get any other sickness or symptoms.
The male nurse John violated HIPPA several times. First by discussing my medical information with someone on the phone I stated to several people when admitted was NOT to know my medical information, and the second time was discussing my information in front of the patient and to her visitor when I had already asked my medical information not be discussed. I have photos below of other patient paperwork that was left on the table at my bedside where I was eating, by Nurse John.
After one night, all of the violations and being told I could not see the doctor again (to discuss my test results and determine next steps) led to me choosing to leave the hospital as I felt unsafe. My privacy and safety was not respected here. I am so grateful my partner picked me up from the hospital and brought me home. I still don't have any medical diagnosis, and when I called to ask for my records/results I was told to "check online" even after explaining I can't make a patient account and would like a paper copy mailed to myself. I am unsure why this all occurred - this hospital was highly recommended and I am so disappointed by this experience. Be careful and protect your information. Go somewhere else if you need care and are worried about your safety and privacy.

Also, if your info is in the pics below, try contacting the hospital to let them know you don't appreciate or approve of them sharing this information. This was placed right in front of me and left for over an hour as I ate and waited to get picked up.

The best experience I’ve ever had at a hospital doctors and nurses were so thorough nurses were so kind bedside manner from the doctor was the best only question I have is the daisy award how do you give a daisy award one nurse when all of the nurses deserve it Even the staff who cleaned your rooms what kind courteous and did the best job I’ve ever seen the hospital is so clean I would recommend to any of my family or friends to stay at this hospital I have never had such excellent care and this hospital tried everything they could to find out what was wrong with me they went above and beyond I would definitely go back there and I would recommend this hospital to everyone the doctors and nurses and staff absolutely wonderful thank you again I cannot thank you enough neither can my family for the care that you took and understanding of my problem and the help that I got while I was there and the time and patience to find what was wrong with me and you never gave up any of you thank you with all my heart you’re the best sincerely Deborah Loughlin August 25,2022

The team at this hospital from Doctors, nurses, techs and else that works here are outstanding! I had bladder surgery from another hospital. My catheter stopped working and I was in horrible pain! Came to ER here at Morton. They never left my side from the Er, room to discharge! I love you all and can’t thank you enough for your caring! I will be here next Friday with goodies! Just gained myself a family here….

We sat for almost 5 hours to be taken to a hallway and then say she's been treated with blood testing. WORST HOSPITAL I EVER BEEN TO ON THE EAST COAST. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

I been here for 4 hours so far for a urine sample and still nothing and it's not busy. No one is waiting room and beds open. No one in hallways ECT. I tried it again. No more for a Urine Sample we ware looking at 6 hours here because after 4 hours they just collected the Urine. Nurses just chat and sitting do nothing seems to me.

We went to visit a very sick friend. Drove a hour to get there. Visiting rules are two people visiting at a time there was one person already visiting. After driving around in the heat for 20 minutes looking for a parking place and Walking quite a distance, Both of us entered the hospital.we were told one of us could not be checked in and would have to wait outside the hospital. I asked if I could sit in a chair right in front of the security guard they said no I had to sit outside the hospital. I said it is very hot outside and there’s no place to sit they said I could sit in my car in air-conditioning.this is an unacceptable policy for relatives of sick patients inside the hospital. I know there are plenty of visitor waiting rooms and chairs outside of patient rooms that could be used for waiting visitors. Covid has given hospitals and other places the leeway to do whatever they want and not consider people‘s needs especially people of sick patients whatever happened to families rights and needs. Come on Morton Plant I thought you were better than that!

The entire staff that I encountered at North Bay hospital was exceptional. I have never witnessed every single person from doctors to cleaning staff who were this this genuine, concerned, delightful to speak with and helpful.
I had heard good things about North Bay from other people and we drove an extra 15 minutes to go there as opposed to another local hospital and it was well worth it well worth it.
