Mount Dora Boating Center and Marina, Mt Dora FL

Staff was very professional and accommodating. Boat was very clean and performed well. Weather cooperated wonderfully for a very enjoyable day. Plenty of places for lunch with accommodating dockage.

We had a great time on the Harris chain of lakes, launching from Lake Dora boating center. The pontoon party boat we rented for $325 for 5hrs was perfect. The boat was in good shape, Bluetooth speakers, electric Bimini top, and plush boat upholstery made for a great adventure through the canals between the lakes. It's a bucket list trip IMO. We had lunch at the Hurricane Dockside Grill, they served great food and drink. Saw an alligator, osprey, herring, turtles and lots of waterfront homes of various architectures during our excursion. Touring the chain of lakes was a hoot, and very relaxing. Good people at the Dora boating center. They were very helpful to orient us with the area and the boat before taking off on our adventure.

Excellent service. Every staff member treats us like we are family. What a nice way to start a boating day. Thanks to you all.

This was our second rental pontoon. As before, nothing is simpler than renting a boat for the day here. Prompt and courteous concierge style service is the norm. I’ve owned several boats in my life but if you use them a half a dozen times or less a year there’s no reason to own.

We rent pontoons here often. Great place to start a lake adventure. The boats are beautiful, like new, and have all the features needed for a fun day. The staff is great. I only wish the rentals went past 4: 30. Especially in summer months.

While our boat is in for warranty service, we rented one of their pontoon boats for the day. Their rental boats are first class. Always clean and ready for you when you and your party arrives. If you want to have a great day out on the lakes, give them a call and make a reservation. You won't regret it!

Way better marinas in the area, don't waste time with Joe, talks out both sides of his mouth. Surprised they're still in business.

A big thank you, again, to the Mt. Dora Marina. Our family has vacationed in the Mount Dora/Tavares/Eustis area for several years and this is our “go-to” place for boat rentals. This time we rented a house on Lake Dora with a dock, and then a pontoon day one, and their Glastron ski boat on day two. Cruising the Dora Canal, tubing, and then hanging on the sandbar in the afternoon was perfect! When renting at this marina, everyone has been so polite and helpful…their employees seem like one big family. We will always patronize this marina when we come back!
