Moya Model, Daytona Beach FL

I will no longer support Moya Model. I went there in April/May 2020 to purchase items for a relaxer. I have never relaxed my own hair, and hadn't had a relaxer in about 5 months because COVID, understandably, required salons to shut down. Bush entered all of my relaxer items into the register, and told me the cost was approx $75. I swiped my card and completed the transaction. I asked Bush about the activator and measuring cup. I'd seen that the measuring cups come with the kits online but didn't see one with my items as he was bagging my products. He asked one of his employees to open a larger bottle of activator and pour some out into a smaller empty, dusty container with no markings to indicate quantity. This made me nervous, so I turned around and walked back to the counter and told him nevermind, I no longer wanted to purchase the relaxer products. He told me no refunds and then attempted to blame this policy on his merchant services company (who later told me that this was unequivocally untrue). I told him then that I did not believe that his merchant services would prevent refunds. I never left the store with the items, and the entire transaction from him bagging my items, to me watching the employee try to determine which activator to even open to pour into the unmarked bottle, to me requesting my money back was a matter of minutes. I stood within view of Bush or his employee the entire time. I checked the consumer laws, and he is allowed to not offer refunds as long as the sign is prominently displayed. He is in compliance, as he does have a sign that says no refunds on the front door (although I don't know if Affirm allows opening one bottle to resale or reissue in a smaller unmarked bottle as I did not call them to check). He should just say that he has decided that no refunds will be given under any circumstances to include (1) a customer never leaving the store or front counter area after purchasing, and (2) a customer requesting a refund less than 5 minutes after a purchase where the costomer is with the owner and/or employee the entire time. I wholeheartedly disagree with Moya Model's refund policy, and haven't returned and will never return. I prefer to be treated with respect, and his inflexibility under these circumstances and his subsequent explanation blaming the merchant services company was disrespectful, IMO, to me as a consumer. Bush permitted me to exchange the relaxer products and I now have a wig that I have never worn or opened.

Staff not so friendly. The guy up front was great, but the gal that was working putting products out was not friendly nor helpful

Another great store in the area. It has many hair products to choose from, wigs, braids, waves, hair care products that i never heard of and fun to experiment with. Barber items, oils and dietary supplements. Highly recommend it

Everyone was so nice. The girl that was helping me was super patient and so so helpful. Huge selection of styles and colors, plus any beauty item's you might need!

DO NOT BUY CLOSURES FROM HERE. I’ve had my hair in for two weake and it was consistently shedding and has already thin. It gives me a bald spot. There’s one right in the part. AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE AND WASTE OF MY FUNDS. I HAVE BEEN ROBBED OF MY TIME AND MONEY. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED.

The staff is really friendly and helpful, the prices are the usual but they have a good selection. The wigs they have on display are well groomed which is nice cause most places have their try on wigs lookin a mess.

They do have a good little variety of products but they can't have that many because the story is pretty small and the service OK and if anybody tell you otherwise they telling a story. To me it seems like they are willing to help females that are willing to give it up faster that's just my thoughts they love them dumbThot's

Gives lots of deals for college students probably the best service too. A little too flirty with customers but nobody is telling anyone to entertain it! Gotta love this place overall especially as a student!
