$350+paid and over 1 month without machine repair. Experienced Rude, unprofessional, late and last minute cancellation of technician on multiple occasions to different family members. Supervisor also notified without follow up and without repair to machine completed.
The owner was gracious in solving our problem over the phone. With pictures texted to him, he immediately identified our problem and gave instructions on how to solve it. Very thankful to him.
To summarize the below: Mr. Budget charged me around $320 for a problem they never fixed. Never once did they call to give me an update. For weeks I had to call and check in with them. If I never get the refund I requested, it will be well worth the $320 I lost if this review keeps someone from using their services.
My washing machine would stop mid-cycle so I called Mr. Budget. The technician came out promptly and diagnosed the issue as worn out shocks. Once the parts were delivered, they got installed and I was told everything was working. Unfortunately, when we washed a load that night, the washer again stopped mid-cycle. I called Mr. Budget back the next day and the technician returned. He left without knowing why it wasn't working and said he'd call me back after talking to Samsung. Weeks with no answer to the problem went by. Never did Mr. Budget call me on their own. Whenever I called, they were always waiting on Samsung. At any rate, the wait was so long that I had to order a new washer so we could wash our clothes. On my last call with the technician I told him I didn't mind be charged for the parts, but asked if it would be possible to get a refund on the labor. He said he'd talk to the boss and see what they could do.
Like before, my request went unanswered. After two weeks I had still heard nothing from the owner. I gave him a call today and he was extremely unprofessional. I started by asking for a refund on labor to which his immediate response was, "No, I'm not giving you a refund. We installed new parts in your washer and those new parts fixed your original problem. Now you have a new problem that I'm not refunding you for. " I made it clear that I wasn't asking for a complete refund, just a refund on the labor. I also made it clear that the problem was never fixed. He didn't believe me and again, he refused a refund saying they already completed the work. I let him know I was going to be leaving this review to which he said, "GO AHEAD! "
Contacted company for service repair Chris showed up on time friendly and did a great job was fast and efficient. Would highly recommend and definitely use this business again.
Good afternoon! I'm not a fake person. I actually called to your business three weeks ago. In my phone call I explained that the ice maker was not working. I gave all information about my fridge and my address. When the technician went to my house, I explained the same thing and he open the fridge, looked at the ice maker for about one minute and told me "I know what the problem is, the ice maker don't work". Then he write a receipt for me with the cost for a new one and installation ($397). Also told me (as well the man on the phone) that it will be $75 for the diagnosis. Then I paid by a phone app. The reason for me giving you only 2 stars is because I already told that the ice maker didn't work and was the same exactly words by your technician to me and I had to pay $75 for hear the one thing I already know and told you. Sorry if this two stars are bad for your business. I didn't have any intention to write about this, just gave a simple no words review. And the two stars are because you gave me an appointment and came on time. A responsa le company that show on time is a really good thing and I appreciated that. Thank you very much and I'm sorry if this causes you any dislike. I'm not talking bad about Mr. Budget Appliances Service. And I did the stars today because Google ask me today.

Needed repairs on my outside refrigerator and ice machine. The ice machine repair was tedious and very involved, but they didn’t stop until the machine was fixed and in good working order. They even took it in to their shop and worked on it for hours to determine the problem. I would definitely recommend them. Pricing is fair as well.
I had contacted Mr Budget after my lg refrigerator stopped working (no power) They were very responsive and on site in a very short time. They determined that the control board was bad and ordered a replacement. The price and service fees were I felt extreamly reasonable. In installing the new board it was determined that the part had a manufacturing defect and they immediately ordered another one and we’re back to install the newer board. This board stopped working that night and they were there for me ordering yet another board. While I was willing to give up on the refrigerator, they pointed out that the board was under warranty and that we should give it one more try. This is the type of service one wants but rarely finds anymore. I can say that I would recommend Mr. Budget with no hesitation. It is always a bad day when you need a service like appliance repair but they are a ray of sunshine in that dark time that makes you glad people like that are out there.
Experienced the same ussue a few days later. Tech returned, discovered a different issue, but did not charge for the visit. Will definitely use in the future.
Mark and Chris were very professional and provided excellent service. They were very prompt In there schedules, advised the issue my refrigerator had, ordered the parts and the refrigerator was fixed expeditiously.
My dishwasher had stopped pumping water out, I called them they sent two techs to my home. When they arrived I pretty much told them straight out that my kids don't always scrape the dishes very well and I was 99% sure the drain was clogged. All I wanted was the drain cleaned out. After about 10 or 15 minuets of troubleshooting they informed me the pump was burned up and would need to be replaced at a cost of $626.97 minus the $75.00 inspection fee. I had a bad feeling about the situation after these guys left. So I went back and looked at the same drain hose they had unhooked and inspected. I found a large blob of grease in the hose. I took a coat hanger and rodded it out. And praise lord Jesus in heaven a miracle occurred, my dishwasher miraculously started working. Imagine that! I called the owner back and let him know what I thought of his techs. He became rather inflamed and indignant and assured me he didn't employ people like that after I suggested he send the techs back to my house to apologize for trying to take advantage of me. Fortunately I took lots of photos of everything and documented what I found. The only nice thing I can say about the owner is he did say he would not cash my check.
But would I ever use this company or recommend them for anything? Sadly NO. Trust is something that once it's ruined it's hard to ever get it back.
I love leaving positive feedback I really do.
But I wouldn't trust these guys to change the light bulb in my oven.

Great service and on time for scheduled appointment. I called for service and was schedule for the very next day! Since it was my refrigerator not working I would of lost most of my food. Grateful for the prompt service I received!
Was at my home within a hour of calling. Ordered part came in early. Fixed in less than 20 mins. He doesn't accept credit cards only cash and zelle. I would recommend if your ok with the restricted payment method.
Mr. Budget Appliance was very responsive, professional, and not overly expensive. He will be honest with you if the appliance is not worth fixing.
