Mr. Gyros Greek and Mediterranean Grill reviews
16Very unprofessional when you are trying to order food to go and the young man at the register is on his cell phone. It was also hard to understand him talking.
I was put on hold and forgotten. When I went there and gave my order and got home found it was wrong. I guess new owners and not good. Have gone here for years. No more!
Lots of problems with orders recently, very disappointed. Food is great.when the order is accurate.
Ordered the gyro salad plate and it was by far the worst one I have had yet. And very expensive. It did not taste fresh and lacked flavor. The place was very outdated and dirty overall.
I ordered online 1 hour before they closed and was there by 9: 15. Unfortunately, they were closed and I was not able to get the food that I had paid for. I would not recommend trying your luck here, maybe call before ordering or getting there just to make sure they are open.
I have eaten here once before and the food was flavourless. I was trying to give them a second chance tonight because of the lack of greek places around, but I guess it was not meant to be.
It wasn't bad for a quick bite to eat for lunch at work. I got the falafel wrap and the veggies were fresh and the hummus was okay but the falafel itself was so dry and hard it was kind of difficult to eat. The fries were good but the feta cheese made them. The service was good he was nice.
Food was cold and tasted of refrigerator. Inner layers of pastitsio were dry and hard. Had to toss it.
Really bad. Falafel tastes like it's been frozen for a year, texture was both mushy/soggy yet dry. Vegetables were nasty. Fries were greasy and undercooked. Felt bad after eating.
Really solid Greek food at a good price. My favorite is buffalo chicken with Salad for the side.
The food was good, not exceptional. What I really liked was the variety of types of Gyros. Not just beef, lamb or chicken but falafel (which actually was quite bad), bbq, grilled cheese (very good) and other choices. Fries were tasty too. We were passing thru but if we lived in that area we'd go back.
Ordered chicken gyro tonight, got home and it was lamb, returned to the store after 5 minutes w food and bag, and the girl asks me for the receipt, I tell her I was just there and it was order number 5, she says I ordered lamb and that she repeated it to me, I told her she didn’t and I don’t eat lamb. Just lost my appetite, will never go there again.
I got the Horiatiki salad, and it was so fresh and delicious that I didn't even use the dressing it came with. I have never had a salad like that before. Incredibly impressed.
Food is pretty good but found a long hair in my Greek salad last time that I ordered. Threw out the whole meal. They need better quality control.
The Greek salad with chicken was delicious! Lots of flavor. Very fresh. Chicken was tender and well seasoned. Definitely recommend!
Stay away! Falafels. Gyro. Chicken/beef dinner. Most bland minute rice ever. Meat is dry and tough. Gyro is not enough. Lettuce and tomatoes are old, brown and only a tablespoon amount. 3 square millimeter of tomatoes and brown thin shredded lettuce. Several times over the last 6 months I have tried various dinners. The tzatziki dressing is ok. Only stupid Americans will call this good food.
Prices have really gone up. Two gyros with fries, fountain drinks, and tip were $35 at lunch!
They weren't busy and the meat was dried out.
