Mr Souvlaki, Tarpon Springs FL

Stopped here while driving thru for lunch. We had the largest Spanikopita I ha e ever had and it was yummy. As well as a Chicken Slovaki Pita and. Sausage Pita with Greek Fries on the side. Everything was perfect!

It used to be really good. Unfortunately it's nothing like it was years ago. The prices have gotten ridiculous and the food is terrible. We used to love the spinach pie here, a long with the chicken souvlaki sandwiches. The spinach pie was stale, even though we were told it was fresh, and the chicken wasn't even cooked all the way in one of the sandwiches. We would venture there every once and awhile from Pasco County, but it isn't even worth the 30 minute drive anymore. Sad, because my wife used to love it there, but the food is disgusting now. Sorry I can't write a more positive review

I have been eaten at Mr souvlaki for years and have always enjoyed the food, one of my favorites is the Greek chow mein. And I know prices on everything have gone up before the scamdemic you could get a half order of the Greek chow mein for around 11 dollars, we went recently and I was surprised at how much priced had increased. I wont give the increased amount because I dont want to wrong and called out on it I ll just say I was surprised at how much it was so instead myself and the wife ordered gyros, that are always big and delicous, except this time they put it in front of me and I actually was waiting for the rest the portion of the meat was quite a bit smaller but just as delicous as always I wont let this stop me from going there the food is delicous and the service is great.if you haven't been there you should go you wont be dissapointed.my thoughts on this AND ITS NOT JUST AT THIS RESTAURANT ITS EVERY RESTAURANT I know there costs have increased but if they are going to increase there prices they should keep the portions like they were before the pandemic. We now pay a lot more and get a lot less and again it's not just this restaurant it's everything every where

Ate dinner here with my family. I had the chicken soup which was delish with its touch of lemon! I could eat it every day! Service was friendly and speedy.

A very happy casual dining experience. We walked up and down the nearby Greek sponge and fishing attractions. We worked up an appetite for Greek food and had Mr. Souvlaki recommended by one of the Greek store owners. What a find! The atmosphere was casual, clean, and appealing. The service was attentive and fun. But the food was the highlight! We had gyros, chicken souvlaki, and Greek salad. Each was prepared deliciously well. Make sure you get the potato salad with the Greek salad. The combination was unexpected but delicious. We will stop by again on our next trip.

We have been customers of the restaurant for years when it was on the docks.its new location is nice, but we were rather disappointed with the food for the first time. The Spanikopita was a healty portion, but had been either microwaved or reheated, rendering the filo dough into inedible cardboard. My gyro was. Ok. When i mentioned the issue to our waiter, he actually shrugged. No offer to have owner come over to discuss or address bill. So, its obviously a little different now.

The food is really good & the service was spectacular! The chairs are really uncomfortable & you constantly feel like you're sliding out so you can't really enjoy the meal.

Great Greek restaurant.food is very good and the restaurant is extremely clean and well managed. Portions are huge when you order salad or a very unique Greek chow mein two people could definitely share their standard portions. Definitely a must stop and try if you're in the Tarpon Springs area.

My husband and myself had on Friday, September 29,2023.

It was one of the worst meals we have ever had, His meal was so dry he had to ask for more yogurt sauce and my meal was so tasteless, I had to ask for any additional sauce.

Extremely disappointed since it was highly recommended within all the other greek restaurants in the immediate area.

For over 20yrs this is our first stop in Tarpon Springs. They have the best gyro you will ever eat!

Excellent gyro's! Never had better! The best potato salad too! Large portions. Service A+

Delicious Greek food. And if you dine in you can get rice pudding for free. Shhhh.don't tell anyone. Tee her.
