Mrs. Mac's Kitchen (Big), Key Largo FL

Absolutely love this place.
Food is amazing.
I had the famous chili.and garlic bread.plus a delicious Purple Orchid drink.

One of my favorite restaurant in key largo.the food was really good and the shakes delicious.

Stopped in on way from Bahia Honda to John Pennecamp on our last leg of vacation. Cute restaurant. The windows had a cute scalloped crown molding type cut out affixed to it that reminded me of a Ginger Bread house. We were seated at a table that was similar to a shadow box. Old post cards were inside along with maps and pictures, sea shells, plastic crabs, etc. The contents of the table made for interesting reading and conversation. Our wait person was Mary Linda. I can’t remember a name to save my life, just to call one of my children by name C I have to go down a list until I get the name right but for some reason I haven’t forgotten hers. She’s has an adorable southern accent that we found to be charming. She was friendly, attentive and professional. Sometimes it’s hard to have us all agree on something but we did agree that Mary Linda was a stand out of all the servers we have had on this trip. The French onion was very good. It came in a nice sized crock with the perfect amount of melted cheese. Flavor was perfect. My mouth is watery just thinking about it. The Key Lime pie was also tasty. Will stop again on our next trip to this area.

Key lime pie was actually good! I don't normally like it but had to try it because I was in the keys.

While in key Largo for two days we ate at Mrs Mac’s restaurant twice. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I had a mango margarita that was so refreshing on that hot evening. I had a cheeseburger and fries one night that was really good, I also had the fresh fish basket, sooooo good. My husband both days had the fresh fish and shrimp basket, he really liked it.

The service was great! The atmosphere is lacking for the Keys. It feels like an ihop inside. The food was "meh, " but the keylime pie is the absolute best you can find anywhere in the Florida Keys!

Only reason I took off star was because I went there hoping for breakfast, which wasn't available. But chili was delicious, Mac & cheese decadent, burger great! Actually uploaded pic of bathroom sink, just because, like rest of place, amazing decor.

Nice place we found in our trip here.
Had the LA shrimp appetizer and a craft beer. Good flavor.

Over and over again, our experience here is amazing! Customer service is excellent and the meals are just perfect! Thank you for always providing a great time!

We went to the original Mrs. Mac's 1st, and it was awesome! I liked it better than the 2nd, but both are good.it depends on the atmosphere that you want.the original is tiny and quent with so much character, the second is newer building better bathroom. Food seems to be the same. Do yourself a favor and order the ONION RINGS! OMG! BEST EVER! We will definitely go again when in area!

I've been bringing my family different key lime.oies from the upper keys area and there was a unanimous vote that this key lime pie has been the best thus far. Graham cracker crust with a creamy filling that is the right balance of sweet and tart and they make their own whipped cream!

Every year this is our go to place. Drinks are great and food is good. Get the shrimp British style. The roast beef sandwich is fire.

I recently dined at this charming restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The food was not only delicious but served in generous portions. The cozy, homey ambiance added to the overall comfort, making it a perfect place for a satisfying meal. I'll definitely be returning next time I am in the Keys!
