Munchies Pizza, Tallahassee FL

I’ve only been twice now but the food has been pretty good! The only thing is they forgot to add garlic to my crust on my most recent order, but i still enjoyed it!

Take out or delivery is the way to go, but dining in leaves a lot to be desired. Food was average at best.

The hand tossed pizza is your usual by style pizza, not the best but decent enough, taste is fine. That being said, the Chicago style deep dish was truly amazing! The sauce gets a sweet flavor and is very aromatic from being baked on top, the crust is stuffed with cheese, and the overall filling is very generous, (we got pepperoni and cheese only) also even though it seems like it would have been a gooey dripping mess it was not overly so. The pizza was cooked very well and didn't make a giant mess while eating it still hot. I will definitely be back as we paid about 20 dollars for 5lbs of pizza perfection on that one. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. The only comment I would make is to order ahead as the deep dish takes half an hour to bake which they make known so as not to surprise you with the wait time. Highly recommend even if you don't think sauce on top is the best way to go.

Everything was closed late night on Christmas eve and we are from out of town, but munchies was open! The guy that answered the phone was so helpful and nice. And then when I went to pick it up, he was so nice and had great customer service. And the best part was that the pizza (new york style) was sooo good! Whe I'm back in tally, munchies will definitely be a stop I make.

Staff were super friendly. I got my deep dish pizza with bacon really quick and it was delicious! I can normally eat a lot but I had leftovers even with the smallest size. Really good value for money.

First timers. Really enjoyed the vegan pizza. I opted for 1/2 vegan delight and 1/2 vegan chicken pesto. Overall very good, was very satisfied and impressed. The garlic crust is a nice touch. Taste wise, My spouse and I preferred the vegan delight over the vegan chicken pesto. We were offered the choice of a dark sauce drizzled over the pizza (maybe a vinaigrette of some sort?) but opted not to and just to have it on the side (tasted it and glad it wasn’t on the pizza b/c it would’ve compromised the taste of the pizza). Not that many pizza places I know cater to vegans and if they do, it’s a meat-less cheese-less pizza. But not here. The quality was on point and the vegan cheeze melted. Thank you Munchies, I plan to be a returning customer.

Oh and by the way, can you please make a vegan stuffed Chicago deep dish version? Thanks in advance.

We got the Chicago stuffed pizza for dinner. It was delivered hot and fresh! The crust was unbelievable and braided with garlic butter! The sauce was delicious, we got meatballs as our filling. 10/10 will definitely order this again!

If you like waiting 40 minutes for garlic nots while the staff has a dance party in the kitchen then this is the pizza place for you.

I went for the first time yesterday and it was amazing! Very cool place and the pizza was so good. I got the Chicago style stuffed pizza and it blew me away. I’ll definitely have to come again ツ

Not the fanciest joint but they are definitely the best place for NY style pizza in Tally. (IMO) They also run a Lunch deal on weekdays for a dollar per slice. The best deal I could ever ask for when walking back from classes in Bellamy and Rovetta. Owner is Chill and really enjoys his craft. The place is never packed out but with Pies like this I’m surprised it’s not.

Stopped at Munchies for lunch while passing through Tallahassee and was happy I did! Their sauce is perfect. Many Florida pizza places have thin and too sweet sauce, Munchies does it right! Had a Chicken Parm sandwich, it was so good I took a whole pie home with me to share with the family for dinner. 5 stars, will do again

The deep dish is wroth the try for any pizza fan the sauce alone is great. If the kegs where open or the shooter game was fully functional it would be 5 but also crew can't just be leaning when people are waiting for food, its a bad look.

Omg I must say that their Bbq pizza is to die for amazing. The customer service was amazing thank you Sam for the best first visit for my daughter and I. We will be back

I had never had their pizza. They have a Chicago deep dish that was great! I ordered on Sunday, and the young lady who was working was answering phones, putting in orders, and making the pizzas by herself. She did an AMAZING job!

Great pizza. I read somewhere that they offered the best Chicago style pizza that you are going to find in town. Don't know if it is true, but the pizza was so good. I would go back.

Tried the deep dish stuffed crust and only needed one slice lol. Personally the sauce was a lot and a little sweet for me but it was good and the cheesy garlic knots were really good. Definitely will come back and try other items.
