Staff was really friendly and it was a thorough/high tech eye exam for my son. Definitely will be returning. An associate even helped me with my glasses, even though I'm not a patient.

Very Unprofessional: Tech was trying to adjust my glasses- seem like she got frustrated and threw them to me- I quickly went from 10 to 0 and advised her she is Not to throw people their glasses. Another tech and I believe the manager came to assist. Other than that they would have rated a higher score.

My Eye Doctor, services were exceptional.

Ms. Amery rendered professional and courteous service. She exemplifies great leadership and she was very productive and conducive in which she was hired to do.

MY Eye Doctor, your company should hire more staff like Ms. Amery, she is an exceptional employee.

I noticed several people giving this location of My Eye Doctor a 1 star with their added reasons. Reviews in all areas are and always should be based upon honesty because you are not only reviewing the business, etc but you are also helping others who are interested in the business. Now most reviews are in the past and yes, maybe this location needed improvement at the time of their ratings which if true, they have did a tremendous upgrade in service in all areas.
Businesses, etc rely on ratings/reviews to help improve service.
Now for my rating/review - during my first visit at this location; I actually highly recommend my eye doctor off Timberlane Rd. Everything was on point. Its very spacey inside, well organized and the staff; both front desk, take-in lady and the eye doctor all are excellent.
The only thing I recommend which may be beyond their control is an outside bench is not there. The reason I mentioned a outside bench is because I noticed 2 individuals standing outside waiting on transportation after having an eye exam. Yes, they could have waited inside until their ride arrive but Im guessing they chose not to do it.
Nonetheless, I give this business 10 stars.

My Eye Doctor, I received exceptional service. Ms. AMERY was very professional and courteous and productive as well as conducive.

She was patient while I looked for glasses, ery knowledgeable about the glasses, the dimensions and the right fit for me.

Ms. Amery, you're a great employee and exemplifies what staff are to be in a professional setting. I recommend a raise or some form of recognition.

My daughters and I all had eye exams which were fine. The techs were actually really nice. I would not order glasses from here, though. The salesperson was rude when I asked if she would give my other daughter and I our PD as it was not on the prescriptions we received and we were not ordering glasses at that time, and she said that was only for people buying glasses. One of my daughters selected glasses and our insurance pays a certain amount which was verified while we were on site. The pair that we did get was still over $200 after insurance. We paid the full balance and my daughter received her glasses a couple of weeks later. The following month a new bill arrived saying we still owed $62. I called their billing department who said it had to do with what insurance paid. It was verified while we were on site by the salesperson and then we paid the remainder in full. They said they would look into it. Then, they continued to bill us for the surprise amount. The salesperson was pushy about adding extra protection coverage for the frames, coatings, etc, and they were listed on the bill we paid. I have no idea where the random $62 came from since they wouldn't provide an itemized bill for this charge. Between the rude salesperson who wouldn't provide our PD and then the surprise bill later, we won't return.

Virtual eye doctor appointment gave me the wrong prescription for contacts. Would not recommend the virtual eye exam option.

Emory was amazing! Very professional and very knowledgeable about products and took the time to explain every option to me. She helped me obtain two pairs of glasses that are the best I have had and her lens recommendations were very helpful. She has made a customer for life. Beyond satisfied! Thank you for being great at your job.

I placed an order for glasses and was told they would take a week or two to come in. A month and a half later I was told the place they order from didn’t have my frames and the store didn’t reorder them until five weeks after I had paid for them. I was never notified about the delay. When the glasses did arrive they were not what I ordered.
Every time I called, from making the appointment, ordering the glasses, calling for status (many times) and when I picked them up, they verified my phone number. Each time I told them they had the wrong number and gave them the correct contact information and they said they’d fix it. None of them did. The total lack of anything approaching customer service is the main reason once my order is completed, I’ll never go here again.

It was great until they abruptly, and without prior notice, dropped my insurance and left me to shift for myself.
