Very disappointed with this location. The day of my visit their systems were down but I was impressed the doctor had taken the time at home to write down my previous visit information and complete the exam. However, I ordered contacts and never received a call they had come in so I called a few weeks later to ask if my contacts had come in and was told they had a return in the system because the prescription was never verified. I was told then it would be placed and then they would call me when it was ready. My appointment was October 13th and I’m still waiting. Very unorganized.

Everyone is wonderful, especially Chase. Chase was so polite, professional, extremely knowledgeable and very patient. He thoroughly explained everything & ensure I received the best deal possible. The selection of frames is ENORMOUS & they actually carry MOST contact lenses in stock. I have been here a few times now and I am so pleased with the service and how I have been treated. If you are looking for an eye doctor, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office - - - even if you are not looking for one, I still recommend them.

I hadn’t had any issues at this practice until my most recent visit. I had a routine eye exam which was fine, but getting my contacts was a nightmare. I was sent the wrong prescription, and I immediately notified the office. After a week of no communication from the office, I called again to see what was going on. I had to call every week until I finally got to the office manager after a month. I was already annoyed that I had to drive to the practice to drop off the contacts THEY sent by mistake, and having to wait over a month to get the correct prescription made it worse. When picking up the contacts, the receptionist was rude and obviously didn’t want to be there. I told her who I was and that I spoke with her on the phone earlier that day, and she grabbed my contacts without another word…. Not even a “have a good day”. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the doctor and technicians were nice.

I had my first appointment today and was very pleased! My appointment started on time which is a plus for me. Dr. McCracken was awesome, she made me feel very comfortable and was easy to communicate with. Steve was also a charm. He fixed my Prada and Gucci glasses and made ordering easy. Thank you!

This place is an absolute train wreck and I will never step foot back in this office again. I honestly never liked them, on my very first visit Dr. Stanley was so rude to the employees but I go once a year and was too lazy to find another. However, I’m officially done with them now. I had my appointment the first week of June, ordered glasses and contacts. Had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment for someone to help me pick out glasses. They then overcharged me and had to call me back later saying they found a “discount” and it was now all the price I originally thought it would be. I got my glasses about a week later but no contacts. After week 2, I called. They said there was a mix up and to give it another week. I call at the end of June, 3 weeks later, they said they were never ordered and would order them now. Give it a week. 1 week later, they said they weren’t sure what happened but they still don’t have them. Now they offered to ship them for free to my house. Give it a week. It’s mid July now, I’m running out of contacts. Never arrived. I called the last week of July, they said oh no! Sorry about that. I’ll order them again. FINALLY, they send me an alert the first week of August, 2 months after my appointment to come pick them up. Get there, they couldn’t find them. They had filed them under someone else’s name. When I finally got them home and check, they had labeled my left contacts as right and vice versa. Thank god I knew my prescription. I have never seen so much ineptitude by so many different people. No one in my family will return and I will make sure to warn anyone away from them.
Sidenote: I had already had 2 different friends warn me away from them, I should have listened.

The doctor staff and Steve are all very helpful and knowledgeable. Will keep going as long as my insurance covers.

Friendly staff; excellent professional service; they worked with my optometrist’s office (another MyEyeDr office) in Prosper, TX to help my daughter’s need while visiting Tampa and saved us time and money! Thank you!

This is my 2nd time at this office. They were running very behind with only 1 person doing the check out portion since 2 called out. Everyone remained very professional and in as good spirits as possible even with people walking up to complain multiple times. My appointment time was 11: 30 and I called on my way to let them know I was going to be 8 minutes late. I was told they couldn't see me if I was more than 10 minutes late even though they were backed up for hours already. I removed 1 star because of that. Otherwise, I will continue to recommend this office to anyone in need of an ophthalmologist.

Super friendly and efficient service, I always go here for contacts and glasses. Steve in particular is a kind and helpful optician, he made the experience great! 10/10 recommend this place if you wanna be in and out with no problems.

Been going here for years and love Dr. Stanley and all the staff. Qualified professionals who are always friendly, and most helpful sorting out all the insurance details. Highly recommended.

VA Community Care sent me to this doctor - I contacted VA today to let them know. She does NOT wear gloves over her nail polish- She dilated MY EYES. She LEFT THE ROOM, SAW OTHER PATIENTS, and never put on gloves. SHE CAME BACK AND examined me. The lights came on, but no gloves. I felt Filthy. Please have your staff clean equipment - makeup present - which dr removed ungloved. When there is expected contact with mucous membranes and skin and when there are potential blood and body fluids - GLOVES MUST BE WORN.

PS. VA Community Care was notified about this issue and they are investigating.

Loved the decor and cleaning of the place.my appointment was at 11: 30am but I wasn’t seen until 12: 00pm.when I get back there everything was soo smooth and I felt so comfortable + everyone there was super nice and friendly.however this is why i’m giving them 4 stars…well, I noticed that I was asked if I wanted a picture of my eyes shown to me + an eye exam. I wasn’t told that it cost about 50 bucks by anyone, also I didn’t ask so it may be on my end. I was totally shocked how they smooth talked me into paying $50 to see my eyes. It’s just a little sneaky to me. But hey, I didn’t complain because I had the money + there service was awesome. I’m just writing this to say Be Aware, if you want an eye exam it’s cost about $45-$50 bucks.but thanks again for my new glasses!

Ordered my glasses (2 pair) 12/14 - 1/6 they are not in, no explanation called a week ago and they said they would definitely be in this week.well it is Friday no glasses no explanation.

They are also way overpriced on their frames.found the same frames I paid $230.00 for %122.50 almost half of what I paid. Have been an My EyeDr customer going on about 10 years now. I guess it is time to find a more customer friendly Opto/Frame provider. Will be requesting a full refund, and or just disputing the charge. They can't deliver what they promise.

Steve, the eyewear consultant, is incredible! He is patient and so helpful. He’s a joy to work with and I would recommend him highly when choosing frames and getting glasses made.

Very professional and friendly staff. Tiffany was the tech that assisted me. She was very thorough and explained everything as she was doing the exam to make sure I was comfortable. I would highly recommend this company.
