I was given Dr. Ballal’s name as a referral from our pediatric neurologist for a pediatric cardiology consultation. I have now called three times to schedule an appointment. My phone call is bounced to the nurses line, where I have left multiple messages. It’s been over a week and the office has yet to return my call. If this is any indication of the doctors ability, I have no desire to interact with their practice.
It doesn’t get more unprofessional than this.

Dr. Ballal used to be a good doctor. Ever since Corona things have changed. He will yell at you about the vaccine. Even though your child is not old enough for it. If you are so concerned about Covid why do you have your child working in the office & around patients as well as handling their files?

I am a former employee I got fired for not wanting to get the vaccine which I thought was Voluntary I explain to the doctor that I can I get it for a religious purpose and he just straight out told me he did not care and if I did not get it I’m fired I followed all Protocols by getting tested every week and wearing gloves and mask at work
He did not care he was very rude to me and the funny thing is I was never exposed never had a positive test other staff were exposed and they were not told to get a test or isolate for 14 days they continue to work and I was harassed because I did not have the vaccine I do not think that is fair he is a very good doctor but very unprofessional to his staff as you can see there’re changing staff every six months it saddens me

I would really like to give NO stars for the office staff.   We never made it to meet the Doctor.
I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance for my child to see the Dr.   This was a referral from the pediatrician.   Today is our appointment-  We arrived 15 minutes early the sign on the window in the office says DO NOT TAP ON GLASS sit down and you will be taken care of.the glass is etched and you can't see in from the lobby side.  We proceeded to sit down, we waited 15 minutes and no one ever greets us.
I then decided to walk up to the window and stood there for 2-3 minutes and then a woman opens the window (mask below her mouth).  I said we have a 2: 30 appointment   She asks for DL and Ins Card.  She then says I need to complete this paperwork, I mentioned we were sitting in the office for 15 minutes without help.  The only response she had was she didn't know.   Well, then why do you have your etched glass closed and you have no clue what patients are doing in your waiting room and you have a firm note stating DO NO TAP ON GLASS.  I proceeded to bring the completed paperwork back to this lady, again mask below her mouth.   She then proceeds to collect the funds, which were way off from what my ins company quoted.   I was asking many questions, I can see she clearly didn't like being asked.   I asked her why none of this was discussed when I made the appointment 3 weeks earlier.   I am always prepared to pay the copay and when the Dr does different tests they bill ins company and then you get an EOB and then you pay your bill to Dr. I was never told I would need to pay upfront before they billed the ins (without the EOB).  I again asked why was this not discussed at the time of the appointment.  I received a blank death stare from this woman.  Again with her mask below her mouth and then she turned away and stared at her computer. No respect no conversation.   At this time I asked her for my paperwork and I wanted to have it shredded, she reluctantly did.  I then said please pull up your mask.  She proceeds to state she has her shots and it's ok.   I responded NO ITS not ok, this is a pediatric cardiologist's office, NONE of these kids have their Covid vaccine. I am guessing most of these parents don't either!

When you look at other reviews, you can see the staff does a disservice for this Dr. Sure hope this Dr. Sees this review and has a serious conversation, and sets them on the right path.

Fantastic doctor. He takes time to understand what his patients are going through. Very calm and collected. He put my daughter at ease.
He even stayed after hours to make sure she received fluids when needed

In addition to being a very knowledgeable and exemplary cardiologist he is also really talented at talking with young people, children, about their health and their heart health.
